They said that a cover does not affect how hot the laptop gets, and that they recommend one to protect the keyboard. I tested it out. I played Call of Duty 4 for an hour and then just did an hour of regular web browsing and word processing, and According to my tests, the cover did not effect it. I used iStat Menus to keep track of the temp.
i am not sure but it might touch screen, when we close the macbook. and it might leave some marks on screen after long period of time.. How is it while typing ?
i got one of these but it is slightly to big so it pops up a little bit can anyone help?

never use these keyboard protectors because the macbook pro brings in cold air from the keyboard and that covers up the air holes for the heatsink

Does this effect the Laptop's cooling ability? I know that the MBP has little vents between the keys to allow heat to escape the laptop better.
