Most of non-professionals DONT fight small time gangs. They stop muggings and stealing.

The truth is that people actually making a difference; scientists, soldiers, policemen, even real vigilante groups, are never doing it whilst dressed like idiots and answering questions at MegaCon.
These men and women have not gone above or below the law; they're doing nothing. A real crime fighter not only would be a complete unknown, but would be unable to sit at MegaCon without the police shooting him dead. These are just low-IQ, highly deranged kids (and grown men) in bizarre suits.
