I don't understand if Tina wanted Bette why did she help her win back Jodi? In a way she's responsible for hurting Jodi too because she let Bette and Jodi get back together before admitting she loved her.
@ericaw004 I think Tina felt that she hurt Bette so much, which she did, that she didn't have the right to stand in the way of Bette's happiness and that she thought that Jodi could make Bette happy so she helped them get back together but in the end she had to admit to herself that she is and will always be in love with Bette.
I hope everyone is lucky enough to find someone someday that knows you this well. Enough to call you on your faults and bullshit and a relationship secure enough to survive such criticism. Gay or straight, I wish that for everyone.

This series showed that all people, regardless of sexual preferences, are just the same when it comes to love. So i think, there is no way that homosexual/lesbians/gays should be criticized by the others. It doesn't mean when you heterosexual, you are a lot better than them 'cause i could personally say that they are a lot better than the others.
Ok, so I am 10 years late, and I have ONLY watched series 1, but Bette leaves me cold. I find her egocentric, shelfish and insincere. I worry about Jenny (Tim&Jenny)and her lack of boundaries, and am completely besotted by Shane. Looking forward to series 2...

I did end up buying Region 4 copies online and instore. I don't do pirate recordings, it's theft. I definitely think season one was the best, and the whole series suffered a little from having too many different writers. The character of Jenny was the most promising, and the writers lost their way. It was all about friendship and loyalty for me.

In my opinion she is the most fragile character, and her feeling and opinions about every little things are so strong, she is the person you can count on when you need it and she is capable of loving you so deeply that you don't wish for anything else in your life. That is, they come first, their jobs second, and somewhere much later is their partner and children. There is much to love about the L Word, but a lot of it is far from the reality that most lesbians live - this series was made to titilate white men. My favourite character was Alice. Take care.
@vivefemmes It's normal not to be conform with reality it's a fiction from the firs second until the last one. There are a lot of reasons why this Tv show was made starting from personal till the social reasons. One of the reasons, I want to believe, that is to make us aware, to make us more opened-minded. In my country I am pretty sure that we don't watch The L word on a cable network very soon, not even in 5 years from now on, but for me, some of the reasons worked, has reached my mind.

The reason I don't think it was for titillation is because to me, most men who like to watch women, don't actually want to see them f*ck each other, and they did that plenty on LW. I'm sure some men found the show arousing, just like women, but I think they did a pretty good job of showing different varieties of lesbian sex

I love Bette's facial expression when Tina was typing the email. She knows that what Tina was saying is right and there is no way to deny it. So cute!!!!
the looks between them is the best part of The L Word. Each time I see an episode I'm waiting for the moment when they look to each other, even when they were apart their eyes told me that they are still in love with each other and this is the reason that I wasn't upset when they break off, because their eyes told me that they will be together again sometime.
The video compilations always say a lot about the person who made them, and the way they look on love. All the clips focus on romance, or sex, or the drama´s... Nice to see your favorite clips are showing the way Tina and Bette communicate, confront each other, without quarreling, but with the love of friends.
Can anyone tell me who directed the' you're a control freak' scene... it's so amazing- their eyes captured the way they look at each other..wonderfully done.
IC's writing is so meaningful in this montage that the content carries the whole TLW series. Love the chemistry between these two very fine actors. Nice choices and editing! Please do season 5!
Thanks for the video. I think season 4 is by far the best. It has the funniest epsiodes, and Tina & Bette have so much more communication than in season 5 (so far). Don't get me wrong, I like their love scenes, but I just wish they have more deep communications like in season 4.

Bette & tina still love each other that is why there's no doubt that they should get back together in season 5.. Each time I see an episode I'm waiting for the moment when they look to each other, even when they were apart their eyes told me that they are still in love with each other and this is the reason that I wasn't upset when they break off, because their eyes told me that they will be together again sometime.

The video compilations always say a lot about the person who made them, and the way they look on love. All the clips focus on romance, or sex, or the drama´s... Nice to see your favorite clips are showing the way Tina and Bette communicate, confront each other, without quarreling, but with the love of friends.
I enjoyed to hear them talk too, for a change ^^.

Thanks for the video. I think season 4 is by far the best. It has the funniest epsiodes, and Tina & Bette have so much more communication than in season 5 (so far). Don't get me wrong, I like their love scenes, but I just wish they have more deep communications like in season 4.

Thanks for posting this..I really wanted to hear most of their conversations together.. I like very much the last part "I still love you" especially when Jodi saw them hugging each other.. Bette & tina still love each other that is why there's no doubt that they should get back together in season 5.. I hope that this is something that the director & the producers of the show must take ino consideration. Tibette have a lot of fans..& im one of them!
