Seriously, its nice to see a different review for this film, but a film that has less than 50% positive reviews on the tomatometer surely isn't a good film... and yet a film like the Dark Knight, arguably the best comic book movie ever made your review gave the impression you didn't like it and prefered Iron Man (a film that I like less each time I watch it)!!! Sorry for the moany comment Matt and Nat as I love your videos, keep them coming and its great to see a different opinion. Thanks again
Saw this movie and hated it! This is simply my opinion, but I HATED it so much!!!! I'm a bit too much of a feminist to actually see a women wilting away without a man to protect her. This "golden" age love story format is so pretentious since it is just masking the extreme sexuality underneath. Besides, they have made the genre much cheaper... the vampires aren't even scary... that's just a smaller nitpick though.
I'm sorry guys, but I'm avoiding "Twilight." I remember a time when vampires and werewolves were scary. Give me Dracula and the Wolfman any day. Heck, give me the vampire family from "Near Dark" and the Lost Boys from the film with the same name. They were scary as well. Of course, this is just my opinion. When you can, check out these other vampire movies: "Nadja" (1993), "The Wisdom of Crocodiles" (1998), "Habit" (1996) and "The Hunger" (1983, if you haven't already).
@codebreaker2001 I totaly agree with you man, Lost Boys is the perfect example of a modern adaptation of a vampire flick and the classics with Bela Lugosi films and the Christopher Lee Hammer horror films will always rule! fuck these fake emo vamps!
The New Twilight Movie was marvelous ! I found it as a freebie at twilight-now [dot] com
