Where the hell is Suzanne Somers? Maybe she stayed home to plot her salary increase? And Audra Lindley looks incredible there! Norman Fell looks really cool in those glasses!
Ms. Roper is much prettier w/out her red wig. I guess Suzanne Somers thought she was too good for this. She wanted so bad to be Farrah Fawcett in the late 70's. That's why she hired Farrah's manager to represent her.
Thanks for sharing this. Nice to see the cast of Three's Company outside their element. Would love to see this kind of stuff as bonus material on DVDs...
I remember watching this. I was 7, and so excited to see TV shows playing against one another. It was a ratings smash, so they kept these going for a while.
@ChavoMysterio Suzanne Somers on a game show playing for charity?? No way. Had this been a year earlier, she probably would have been a part of it, but by 1978, fame had gone to her head.
It makes me wonder if $20,000 Pyramid was the number one game show on TV on 1978 why did they do night time specials accept the one they did do in 79 For the Junior Partner Pyramid
@kevico He said at the beginning that they are the finalists, so they probably started with more teams and got down to this these two so they only did one question for charity.
This was a 60 min special that started with 4 teams and 3 games to play. The first 2 games require the first team to $200 wins. Then the 2 teams that won the first 2 games would play each other for a final 1 round game (so it will all fit in a 60 min time slot).
I like this method much better than the Al Roker version that got rid of Fast Money for the first 2 games so it would fit in a 60 min time slot.
Awe! That was so cool! Never saw it before! Never knew Lindley had blonde hair! She's a doll! As was Joyce and John!
