@KidCudiFan87 Oh yes! Actually, some XBOX speedrunners taught me some really amazing glitches I didn't know about. For example, you can skip the boss in "The abyss"! :P
The speed runs are awesome, but TBH speed runs in any game ruin the whole experience. Instead of going through it and doing everything possible based on your play style. (whether it be to complete the story and move to MP or treasure hunt.) You basically spend a heck of a long time figuring out glitches and documenting them and then finding routes just to say that you beat X game in Y amount of time.
Well, it's you point of view, and it's a perfectly valid one :) In my case, I like speedruns because, believe it or not, it takes a lot of work and cleverness to find and perform the fastest route for every level.
ooh I agree it takes tons of skill and planning. It's just not my way of enjoying a game. But different people have different play styles. Just like I think gamerscore is pointless. You spend hours on end treasure hunting for a simple score?
Unbelievable. You spent two years and reseached game. You found almost all glitches. Duke can pass through holes. Jacky Chan, Chuck Norris and other envy Duke for his abilities.
This was positively my favorite episode in the making of these videos. The improvement on level 5 from the first videos was absolutely amazing. We kept finding new large improvements in almost every area of the level, and it ended up looking fantastic. Must of took Fernito a million attempts to play through it properly, but his mastery shows.

As for the Damn I'm good run, I've never tried so. I could try it, but I wouldn't have the means to record the run (since I use DOS version of the game). Besides, I've lost the practice haha (these runs were made between 2005 and 2007). I'd have to start practicing again :P
Ah so the people on xbox cheat with save states, bunch of noobs haha. Nice speedruns Fernito69!

It's basically a geek's bragging rights equivalent to gamer score. (no offense to anyone I'm just trying to put it into perspective.)

BTW, I don't go speedrunning every game I play. I also enjoy getting every secret and so. Speedrunning is just one of my playing styles.
