This version is pretty good, but it would never be as magical as the original version of PAOLO NUTINI.

This guy wrote it when he was 18 when his grand father died. You can hear his emotions when he sings it. You can hear in this version too, but it's not as real as Nutini's one. Every time I hear it I wanna cry. Like really. This boy is so amazing. His album "These Street" is one of the best album I've ever listen to.

So just listen to his version, you'll see how painful and beautiful it is.

That was a terrific performance and her new CD is absolutely beautiful. The emotion she portrays when she sings is incomparable and she has the ability to sound different on different tracks. I pray that she continues to get stronger and keep going. She deserves all of this.

I checked almost frame by frame and NO, she is not miming. The problem with been in the recording industry for the last many years is that for the last many years there was no Susan Boyle singing live and BTW, she getting better at it (judging from this awesome performance). It seem to me she maybe has a new vocal couch or something because the quality of her voice live has improved monumentally compared with last year. She also seems much more confident on stage.

I do think she's much more relaxed around the Aussies too tho - must have a similar sense of humor or something & Aussies are friendly without being overbearing.

@HyperCam3Vids Ricky Lee Coultard sang on the same show tonight... she was LIVE (lead vocals). Not ALL pre-record the entire track.... backing vocals yes but you would think that Susan would have opted the Live route. Again I am not knocking her... hell she is fan-freakin'-tastic, I hope she has a great time while visiting Australia.

@dekota2010 I'm positive she sang live. It doesn't sound exactly like the CD at all and she usually never mimes so there's no reason to think she didn't sing this live at all. You should watch her other Aurumn Leaves live performances and then you'll see. This was one of her best performances imo and she was so funny.

@jaquie321 I am not saying that she was miming to her CD.... if that was the case the 'on stage Orchestra' would have also had to mime... no, what I am inferring is that she would have had to pre-record her vocals for the show earlier... then sang along with that soundtrack. I have been in the recording industry for many years... and if you look close at that last 'whispered' passage you will see my meaning. It is impossible to whisper like that (very last word) without losing volume / loudness

That was either MIMED or... she was off her game completely. Vocally it was perfect... cannot fault it... in fact too perfect... more 'studio like'... however her emotion & facial expressions did not fit the song in parts. Have a close look yourself (in full screen). Just my opinion... judge for yourself. She is still marvelous no matter what the outcome.

@dekota2010 Dude, the contestants pre-record all their songs before the show, then mime it during the show. American X-Factor admitted that, so I don't see why Aussie version wouldn't. The contestants sound a little too perfect for me sometimes..

@dekota2010 The most prominant part of what I think is miming... is the very last passage... in fact the last 'WORD' - what you hear is WHISPERED on the soundtrack... yet she does not close into the Microphone to keep the same sound level as the rest of the song (as would be done in a LIVE performance), what you SEE is her at the same distance away from the Mic all the way through the entire performance. And before anyone goes off at me... I know she is under allot of pressure, I still love her

@dekota2010 Hi there .There R certain die hard Susan fans whom have followed her every performance ever done around the globe & we can tell you, that she NEVER lip synchs and NEVER sings it eactly the same way evry time she performs.She even admits to that.Thats what makes her so unique She doesnt want to cheat" the public in any way,so great, good or other,she gives it without trickery evrytime.On the X she didnt sing it xactly like the cd & she'll sing it just a bit diffrnt next performance.

She was definitely not miming for the X factor. At the end during the applause, you can hear Susan saying "uhmmm, uhmmm." as she nodded her head in thanks for the applause. Autumn leaves is a beautiful song. Thank you Susan for this beautiful performance.
