  • the only time sunderland been in europe lol smb

  • The romans built a bloody big wall from Carlisle to Newcastle, because the entire roman empire couldn't control the savages north of the tyne,

    Some things never change.

  • i carnt actually believe the deluded mag fans still think theyre a better team than safc!! and they also think they will beat us when we play each other, sure, with all your free transfers and loan signings!!! hahahaha

  • WANKER

    V

    V

    V PISS OFF

  • I thought this was odd. Why could they not go and watch the magpies play in Liege?

  • i knew deep down them geordies were just mackems in disguise!!!

  • This is not real. Oz once said if you cut him open he would bleed black and white.

  • thought they wer for the toon?? never understood why they would go all that way to watch the mackems

  • there working out there mate have u never watched it this was near where they were working at the time

  • 'Who the hell is he?'

Reply by Dennis 'He's one of the drawbacks'. LOL

  • did sunderland and newcastle used to like each other?

  • aye like the jews loved the nazi's

  • Aye and like the Rangers lovethe Celtic.

  • its only really bad when they play each other, and then its very bad. i have many friends who support newcastle and we get along fine, just not on derby day!

  • we sunderland boys have never liked the geordies!!! BUT Auf Wiedersehen Pet is still class

    peace out!!!

  • By comparison. In rugby league Hull FC & Hull KR have a big rivalry, but its well known for fans of one club to support the other if one of them is in a final. Im an Hull FC fan but quite happly shake hands with Hull KR fans. Maybe football could learn something from Rugby League.

  • yeah like invading the pitch en masse and battling it out?

  • The only bad thing about the whole series! This would not happen!

  • good thing im a sunderland afc supporter

  • dirty makem bastards dirty makem basterds come by ahhh

  • Love the way Oz throws his unfinished pint away as he leaves

  • Class!

  • Jimmy Nail sunderland through and through. Cisssssse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what a strange situation

  • oz with a sunderland scarf on brilliant thats the true north east sunderland and newcastle no difference

  • Jesus. Right, re-development of the Wearmouth Bridge began in 1927 and finished in 1929. The bridge, (second iron bridge in the world after one in the south west), had been there since 1796. It was reconstructed 1857-59. We had the bridge first, alright mate.

  • Are you that you fucking thick you mackem twat. The PRESENT Tyne Bridge was constructed before the PRESENT wearmouth bridge. There has a been some sort of bridge at the on the Tyne since the fuckin Romans-2000 years ago

  • Haha OK mate calm down. Didn't realise we were talking about the 'PRESENT' bridges. (Cos we weren't), but a Geordie was losing an arguement and so they get in a strop and talk about 'a bridge' in Roman times. (Cheers for pointing out when Roman times were too). You're just too clever! Never mind I'll let you have it. I don't care frankly. Check your typing before you waste my time though. Your 1st & 3rd sentences? Can't believe I'm wasting my time on someone so dense. You really are thick.

  • "I didn't realise we were talking about the present bridges(cos we weren't)".So you were talking about old bridges that used to stand on the site of the current Tyne Bridge and your smaller copy.Either way you're wrong.SMB

  • Hahahaha. STE10. Typical Geordie. The Wearmouth Bridge was built in the late 18th Century, then re-constructed to its modern day form in the mid 19th Century. A good 70-odd years before, in actual fact, Newcastle copied us. Get your facts right and fuck off you thick cunt.

  • Just checked up.

    Wearmouth bridge:

    Construction Started: 1927

    Opened: 31st Oct 1929

    Tyne Bridge:

    Construction Started: August 1925

    Opened: 10th Oct 1928.

So YOU get YOUR facts right!

  • 2-0 Toon!!!

    Sunderland=Pile of crap.

And rather live in the Boro? You must just like wearing Gas Masks!

PS If Nissan are so good how come they objected to u building a new stadium there?

    SMB

  • Nissan has Magpie arseholes at the top hence their rebelion to Sunderland Typical Hypocrites, Same at the Galleries too.

  • Well good for them! Worldwide geordies unite against the SMBs. Japanese Magpies with a £2.5 Billion turnover. Thats what i like to see!

  • back then it was common for people to support both north east teams. All this airport argument is just a small town mentality. Newcastle is the most miserable village in the country so i'm not bothered eitherway. I'd rather live in boro

  • the reason they put Sunderland fans in is so that the mackems would like it too

  • oh aye, sorry, played two games. How could I forget.

  • Oh and by the way, we have played in Europe. When we won the FA Cup in 1973 we played in Europe the season after. Get your facts rights, before you post shite.

  • Sunderland are class. Auf Wiedersehen Pet is class. Good video m8.

  • Sunderland = Home of the Fake Tyne Bridge.

They look up to Newcastle that much they tried to copy of our great landmark, maybe you will try to build a fake airport.

  • Nar Mate, they scrapped the air port as they only make minimal profits so we built Nissan on top of it hence a £2.5BILLION turnover!!

  • Hahahaha. STE10. Typical Geordie. The Wearmouth Bridge was built in the late 18th Century, then re-constructed to its modern day form in the mid 19th Century. A good 70-odd years before, in actual fact, Newcastle copied us. Get your facts right and fuck off you thick cunt.

  • Both bridges were built in the same year, look it up.

  • oh dear. talk about chips and shoulders. sunderland folk are far friendlier than geordies. and ive never met 1 who would dare "pretend" to be from newcastle.

  • Sunderland biggest city in the north east, also biggest city between Leeds and Edinburgh. All geordies are deluded fuck wits!

  • Sunderland is biggest local authority(ie council)as it includes separate towns such as Washington and Houghton Le Spring. The actual town of Sunderland is smaller than Newcastle.

  • Talk about splitting hairs...either their in Sunderland or their not.

  • You mean 'they're' not 'their'.

  • @manuohdrg sunderland is not a town its a city

  • newcastle is a shitehole and full of imbreds.

no wonder oz and his mates wanted to go to sunderland on this episode LOL

  • that big bloke with the long hair nd long black jacket is brendan healy, another geordie.. not sure who he supports though - can anybody confirm?

  • Brendan Healy supports Newcastle, does alot of stuff on the 'Sunday for Sammy' nights in Newcastle

  • Auf Weid is class but this is shite- Clement & LeFrenais wide of the mark here.

No Geordie on earth would travel to see a mackem game.

The pleb on the right is perfect casting though- proper mackem tash.

  • A lot of Geordies are Sunderland fans. (i.e. me)

And they didn't travel to see a Sunderland game, the Sunderland fans turned up to the town they were already in.

The thing I see funny here is the idea of Sunderland playing in Europe. LOL.

  • Alright some Geordies do support Sunlun- but Oz etc are all Toon fans.

Plus how come they flew back to Newcastle airport if they lived there...

  • Cuz Sunderland doesn't have an airport. It also doesn't have a cathedral yet it still got city status. SMB's the lot of them.

  • Newcastle doesn't have an Airport either - It's in Northumberland DICKHEAD...!!

  • Fuck off you prick, its in PONTELAND, a part of Newcastle.

  • God you Jaw-dee's really are thick, Ponteland is in "Castle Morpeth" and that is in County Northumberland, Geography really wasn't your strong point was it...!!

  • Well this is the address pulled from the official website:

    Newcastle International Airport

    Woolsington

    Newcastle upon Tyne

    NE13 8BZ

So although I was wrong on the Ponteland bit, it STILL shows that its in NEWCASTLE!

Now run along and eat your cheesy chips with the rest of the Mackem fraternity - but try not to shag your sister this time.

  • you want to be technical about it. Check any recent A to Z and you will see the airport is half in Newcastle and Half in Northumberland so were both right...bah!

  • Ponteland is Castle morpeth, you're right. But Newcastle Airport is 6 miles from newcastle city centre and is part of Tyne and Wear, but don't fear you don't have to feel inadequate and you can still be blindly patriotic to your city (well done on getting a cinema finally by the way) - it's part owned by City of Sunderland. Do you feel proud or whatever now?

  • we've always had a cinema, especially during the days when every community had one

  • So why is it called Newcastle International Airport then you tool?...like most city airports, its on the outskirts...Heathrow isnt in London, and Stanstead is 30 mile from London. And Newcastle airport isnt in Ponteland..its postcode is Woolsington, which is in the Newcastle city boundary.

  • There is simply no way that Newcastle fans would travel 300 miles to watch Sunderland, and vice versa. No way. Maybe they should have given Sunderland fan, Mensi, of the Angelic Upstarts a bit in this scene.

  • i think they were working in the area and sunderland came to play, so they went drinking with us. the 2 sets of fans were friendly in those days

  • Sorry Tim, I take it back, you're not wearing any makem filth.

  • now this is something I've always been very concerned about, and it needs to be addressed. cos there is NO fucking way, regardless of where we are, that we would 'happily turn to support makems' NO FUCKIN WAY ON EARTH!! We'd rather support Germany. and that's a FAK! :)

toon army (Jimmy Nail, Tim Healey, you have explaining to do lad)

  • There is no we.

Not all football fans are so closed minded.

Also this is the 80s so even less of them were.

  • Look closely to see Brendan Healy another supposed "true geordie" pah...!

  • ozz is a true safc fan

  • Nice to see the geordies in there true colours, lol!!!

  • Brilliant, first series is probably the best lol.

  • yeah, 1st and 2nd were amazing.

    The last 3 where crap
