@rostant999 i am canadian. english canadian food is like a cross betwen english and scotish and just bad. english canadian food is not very good but saying that somehow offends a lot of canadians but when has canadian food ever been touted as good? can anyone name an engish canadian dish. french canadian food is totally different and good so is immigrant food from germany, italy, asia ....and american styled food.
His tourtiere looks pretty good, you have to get that with a side of really buttery peas with onions, mmm. Mom makes that on new years, as per tradition. Delicious!
pork pie is french, i think he's calling it meat pie because of the beef addition. his fishermans stew is definately got the manahattan style going on. no new england or northeast/canadian fish stew has tomato or tomato base. i'm curious where that aspect came from
