That was in no way, by any stretch of the imagination a protestor attacking a policeman. In fact it was a protestor defending himself and others from a policeman who decided to use a motorcycle as a weapon.
Never once was the officer touched, never once did anyone try to touch the police officer AND this officer was suspended from his job by his superiors for trying to ride a motorcycle into a crowd of people (a felony if a non-police officer does this).

Well, it very well may be that the protester did shove the officer, but I question the argument the poster of this video is attempting to make. Is he saying that because a few out of thousands of Occupy protesters did not adhere to a policy of nonviolence that that all of the protesters are violent? If so, this is a irrational argument. For example, a small number of sports fans run amok, but that doesn't mean all, or even a large percentage of sports fans support that behavior.
Protesters in the future we will not have to worry about the police. Just look south into Mexico, a few drug runners has got all the police so scared down there they will not get out their police stationhouse. It's pretty clear that the officer slowed down, they guy grabbed his handlebars and held on while the ones in the back shoved the bike over. At that point the police rush in to protect the downed officer.

0:00 - the block. 0:01 - Acceleration. After this point the officer begins dismounting his bike just before it falls over. I didn't see anyone get completely run over, nor did I see a physical attack by the protestors. the only thing clear about this video is that the officer, from a motionless position, accelerated towards the group of protestors attempting to block his path.

Well, it very well may be that the protester did shove the officer, but I question the argument the poster of this video is attempting to make. Is he saying that because a few out of thousands of Occupy protesters did not adhere to a policy of nonviolence that that all of the protesters are violent? If so, this is a irrational argument. For example, a small number of sports fans run amok, but that doesn't mean all, or even a large percentage of sports fans support that behavior.

Arms out, elbows locked, trying to stop its momentum. 0:03-0:05 other protestors rush in to stop the bike. Protestors have been run over in NY and DC. In this "Oh God he almost ran them over" adrenaline rush, the protestors tip the bike. The manner in which he approached was threatening and OWS reacted.

0:00 - the block. 0:01 - Acceleration. After this point the officer begins dismounting his bike just before it falls over. I didn't see anyone get completely run over, nor did I see a physical attack by the protestors. the only thing clear about this video is that the officer, from a motionless position, accelerated towards the group of protestors attempting to block his path.

You can cross reference your video and clearly see that. Still can't see anyone assaulting the cop or "shoving" the bike.
