I'm abit torn truthfully - it is pretty brutal - i mean, it's jsut a game, but I've always had a concious even during gameplay (ie, i can never really play an "evil" character in a game)
So, it can be very disturbing; but on the other hand it still slightly "atractive" to a small extent - but then again my girlfriend and I sometime act out fantasies, and the odd one is pretend rape~

The reason that Mario doesn't cause any violent behavior is because it is FAR from reality. Subconsciously, when you play a game that is made to be as close to reality as possible, then you start visioning it as real. When is violent enough and you play it so much, it becomes part of you in a way that some men will play out a video game in real life. I don't think we should have violent video games; at least not the ones closest to reality as far as murder goes among other things.
