As a former workplace bullying victim, I thank you for posting this. I wish I had seen this twelve years ago, when I started my last job. In my case the irony was that I was the business's director, though the owner kept trying to turn me into a puppet. Unfortunately, it was half my fault for playing into it for over nine years, and I had to go through some therapy when it was over. On the bright side, the experienced pushed me into starting my own business.
