Batman comes from a comic book medium like the other "super powered" heros, and would seem larger than life to any young persons mind. He seems to have powers although he has none. He has a costume. And the feats he acomplishes in his stories can never be really deplucated in the real world without a greatly reduced life span. He stradles both worlds. And this debate of him being or not being a superhero will never end I guess.
