just figured out after half an hour that this cut is simply 1. setting up a swing cut, 2. using gravity to release on knuckle 3. dropping it in your left hand. I thought this was supposed to be like a really complicated cut or something
PS, I'm currently expirementing with this cut, attempting to create a flourish that I plan to call the Milky Way Cut, too me it resembles Pandora in small bits of it, and the end of it is... well, it's hard to describe. When I get a video recorder, Ill post it up.
This may be 2 years late, but Damn, Alejandro, this move rocks. Even more so, it's original. Oh, and I saw you on a video with Dan Buck when he shot a Preqel contest entry! lol anyways, this move is beast.
And not to be off subject, but if you had some time, could you give me some advice on flourishing?

while i do think that this move does have potential, i dont think its a fit replacement for the swing cut as you said in the description, simply because it lacks enough speed. ive tried doing this quickly and incorporating it but it just seems less elegant at speed. tempo is everything for this sort of move and the tempo doesnt fit many styles.

Dude, this guy is fishing for attention. When you ask somebody who is considered "famous" on an interview what he thinks of you, that's fishing for attention. When you ask for hundreds of comments for one... pardon my french, shitty move, that's fishing for attention. When you add every "big figure" to your messenger list and tell about it to everyone, that's fishing for attention.
Whatever, I'll keep my opinions to myself. It just annoys me that people suck up to him that much.

"I know many people (includding my friends Jonas Haglund, Huron Low, TicaL and others) are using this move and have came up with fantastic variations and combos that might eventually be made public for you."
The "including my friends" cracked me up. Including my friends lol. Hey look, Huron, Tical and Jonas are my friends. Look everyone, they're MY FRIENDS. How cool is that?
By the way, I think the move sucks. I really can't see any way in which it is viewed is a good move.

Thats a nice way to avoid an argument which you are obviously losing. You're faced with the accusations of pompousness, lack of skill and attention seeking, and you can't find an appropriate answer to any of them, so you tell me to "chill".
As for jonas, tycal and eric making good variations for it, well, a talented artist could make a beautiful sculpture from a pile of shit.
Point is - you cant just put out a tutorial for a shitty move, back it up in the description and call it a day.
Y'know what... The old me would probably start a flame war with you to try and bring you to your senses... but I'm quite tired of trying to slam some brains into E noobs. It's like arguing with the wall. I'll guess I'll just wait for you to gain several years worth of card experience and see for yourself. Whatever...
please!!tell me where i can get those cards...theyre called jerrys or something arent they??please respond with a link to a website or something!!! <=)
how the hell is this a bad tutorial, it showed how to everything about the move in detail, not only that but the move itself (no affence) is pretty much obvious and doesn't even need a tutorial.
Anyway Cuso i really like this little ditty i find myself using it with out even my attention 5/5
As a tutorial, the move is not explained in the best manner possible, but the move itself is quite interesting. It's still very easy to learn since it's such a simple cut.
people are forgetting that this is utility move. It does have potential as being a part of other moves and incorparating this move into other ideas. The cuso is not suggesting the move on its own has potential. This is a great idea and will be used in many combos and is a cool concept. Great work
Honestly, you guys are seriously blind...Why do you guys act like it's "an extremely great move" Are you not seeing how beginner-level the move is? "It has alot of potential" Lmao! Hahahahah
Just a swivel cut? No it is a move to split the cards into two packets stylishly. I use it when im gunna start my one handed cuts. Nice Alejandro, will upload a respose soon.
I really like this and I agree it has a lot of potential. I'm even working a variation right now that I might post as a response, but I don't know. Anyway thanks for the great concept.

Agreed.i.e..pivot...UtilitY... A great flourish is often the only mis-direction needed. This leads openly to many blind shuffles, cuts....

ProMagician1992 3 years ago
$200 or more usually.
woody532 3 years ago
IMHO: It doesn't flow that well as opposed to a swing cut.
Very nice concept, but it would have to start a flourish combo, because to have it in the middle would make an awkward pause.
dasuprememep 3 years ago
you are wrong, and you will see. :P
TheCuso 3 years ago
Uh, no, I'm not wrong.
Opinions can't technically be wrong or right. They are opinions.

this is a move that even old school magicians would eventualy learn as it is not that flashy/flourishy but elegant. dont you think?

that's true- it is very elegant... and as You said it has a lot of potential.
