  • just figured out after half an hour that this cut is simply 1. setting up a swing cut, 2. using gravity to release on knuckle 3. dropping it in your left hand. I thought this was supposed to be like a really complicated cut or something

  • smoooth

  • Song name please?

  • wow..speachless

  • looks like im playing 52 card pick up :D

  • @sleevo360 Looks like I'm playing 26 (actually 'cause we only take half of the deck) cards pick up :P

  • Nice Jerry's

  • nice, wow! great stuff, keep it up! and thanks for tut :)

  • I want a Jerry's Nugget deck..... :(

  • este es el principio de POCO cierto? :D jajajaja lo vi y dije achis, este es poco pero incompleto :P

  • is it just me or do you play 26 card pick up a lot practicing this move?

  • how do u keep the cards from falling after the swing cut?

  • This may be 2 years late, but Damn, Alejandro, this move rocks. Even more so, it's original. Oh, and I saw you on a video with Dan Buck when he shot a Preqel contest entry! lol anyways, this move is beast.

And not to be off subject, but if you had some time, could you give me some advice on flourishing?

    cheers,

    Brandon

  • PS, I'm currently expirementing with this cut, attempting to create a flourish that I plan to call the Milky Way Cut, too me it resembles Pandora in small bits of it, and the end of it is... well, it's hard to describe. When I get a video recorder, Ill post it up.

  • what deck is that?

  • @MrMrdarkmagician You don't want to know, because then you will want to spend your whole life trying to get one

  • where did you get the jerrys nuggets cards

  • Absolutely beautiful. 5/5 favorited

  • where can u get jerrys nuggets in england

  • ebay

  • nice song! :{

  • im gonna get some jerrys nuggets soon

  • What deck are you using?

  • Red Jerry Nuggets

  • Ya lo estoy practicando!!! Fácil y elegante!! Solo es cuestión de tener soltura...

    Un saludo Alejandro!

  • I really like the look of it, it has a different feel than a lot of the other flourishes.

Great flourish, the possibilities are already coming to mind......

  • Done. Thanks for sharing!

  • this cut looks sick. Whatever.

  • Thanks man, now i wanna see you doing it ;)

  • ...very original move...

    respect!

  • while i do think that this move does have potential, i dont think its a fit replacement for the swing cut as you said in the description, simply because it lacks enough speed. ive tried doing this quickly and incorporating it but it just seems less elegant at speed. tempo is everything for this sort of move and the tempo doesnt fit many styles.

  • TEHCOUS 1 quest !!!! ur cards in the video!!!where did you the cards??

  • Those are Jerry's Nuggets. They are very rare and expensive cards. You can get them off ebay.

  • WTF was that???

is that the new xcm now a days???

    nice sound men thats all.

  • right on nigga!

  • They're really his friends...

And they really do this in real life, I saw Huron doing it while sitting down with the virts.

    -Leon

  • chill man...

  • I definetly think he just did. and its a utility move not some elaborate flourish

  • Y'know what... The old me would probably start a flame war with you to try and bring you to your senses... but I'm quite tired of trying to slam some brains into E noobs. It's like arguing with the wall. I'll guess I'll just wait for you to gain several years worth of card experience and see for yourself. Whatever...

  • please!!tell me where i can get those cards...theyre called jerrys or something arent they??please respond with a link to a website or something!!! <=)

  • jerries nuggets i guess

    look on the internet

thoses are the most expensive cards i think :p

  • easy to understand tutorial but pleasse show us some of the variations!!

    Nikh

  • it could do with a bit more description but its still 5 star

  • how the hell is this a bad tutorial, it showed how to everything about the move in detail, not only that but the move itself (no affence) is pretty much obvious and doesn't even need a tutorial.

Anyway Cuso i really like this little ditty i find myself using it with out even my attention 5/5

  • As a tutorial, the move is not explained in the best manner possible, but the move itself is quite interesting. It's still very easy to learn since it's such a simple cut.

  • dont get it i can get it plz add words cas i rely dont get how to do it

  • great idea-thank you for sharing-decknique memeber

  • not your best work but not your worst either...

  • ur the piece of shit if u cant follow this tutorial!

  • its so short yet so cool!

  • Cool editing + nice cut = AWESOME!

  • I'm sorry. I've posted this comment with my other account.

    I'm Pullusgallinaceus.

  • thnx cuso i like using it then breaking in to genises by dan and dave

    good job

    i love it

and it will be replacing my swing cut

  • You have shown me this before and my god you kept it secret for a long time.

As I said then, the potential of the move is superb. I love it and will use it in many performances to come no doubt.

Well done Cuso, a great utility Move.

    Dan

  • Nice one man :) , and the concept is very original.

    Suhel/gangstarr23.

And looking forward to the Your style competition.

    peace

  • Agreed.i.e..pivot...UtilitY... A great flourish is often the only mis-direction needed. This leads openly to many blind shuffles, cuts....

  • people are forgetting that this is utility move. It does have potential as being a part of other moves and incorparating this move into other ideas. The cuso is not suggesting the move on its own has potential. This is a great idea and will be used in many combos and is a cool concept. Great work

  • Who cares how easy or "noobish" it is. It looks good, keep up the good work.

  • Hey, how much is the Jerry Nuggets deck per pack in US dollar ? :X

  • $200 or more usually.

  • IMHO: It doesn't flow that well as opposed to a swing cut.

Very nice concept, but it would have to start a flourish combo, because to have it in the middle would make an awkward pause.

  • you are wrong, and you will see. :P

  • Uh, no, I'm not wrong.

Opinions can't technically be wrong or right. They are opinions.

  • There would be no such pause, and i could prove that.

and that's not an opinion :P

thanks for the comments though buddy. i appreciate.

  • Honestly, you guys are seriously blind...Why do you guys act like it's "an extremely great move" Are you not seeing how beginner-level the move is? "It has alot of potential" Lmao! Hahahahah

  • genious

  • Its got very nice flow, and even more when the hand is moved with it. great potential to. overall 5star. just wish i came up with it :P

  • thats what huron said when i showed him if i can remember well.

"i wish i came up with it"

thats what makes this move so special.

  • nice one CUso :) it got sttyle.. stylissh ..

  • woot rhcp!

  • This is too noobish. All that it is, a swivel cut and one hand revolution. I don't see anything great about this seriously.

  • please read the description dude.

  • Just a swivel cut? No it is a move to split the cards into two packets stylishly. I use it when im gunna start my one handed cuts. Nice Alejandro, will upload a respose soon.

  • didnt you read the description? he said its not as much of a cut its more of a slight to use in your own cut. and those are the best

  • Awesome Cuso!!

  • wasnt this your underground cut?

    anyway

i love it, its so short yet so effective

    thanks man!

  • I really like it! I'm deffenitely going to use it in some of my creations.

    Thanks :)

  • nice moves

  • I really like this and I agree it has a lot of potential. I'm even working a variation right now that I might post as a response, but I don't know. Anyway thanks for the great concept.

    Thanks,

    Woody

    [Muybueno Alejandro]

    Bye man! ;)

  • muchas gracias.

  • whoohoo return of the cuso

  • yeah, it's been a while. though this video was recorded almost a year ago...

  • thx cuso, good to have back on tutorials;)

  • simple, but really cool! 5/5

  • thanks, i like to keep thing simple but effective.

this is a move that even old school magicians would eventualy learn as it is not that flashy/flourishy but elegant. dont you think?

  • that's true- it is very elegant... and as You said it has a lot of potential.

I am glad that You decided to share this move with the community- I wish more flourishers were so open...

So once again- thanks... and You can be sure that I will learn it.

  • PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE COMMENTING! thanks ;)

  • this i great for transitions
