I'm pretty sure alot of these shots are done with rough stop animation (rough in that instead of using only one frame at a time they are using maybe 3,4,or 5...makes this seem alot more intense because the editor can throw in "shaking camera" effects when ever joey hits the drums, and all the close ups on josh's face seem really choppy.

Overall, best QOTSA footage ever and the first good thing MTV has done in a while IMO.
