im suprised the stage ride crashes well, i was under the impression that it was a medium weight with a thick bow, not really a crashable type, ive noticed the sweet ride has a better edge for crashing patterns so you might want consider using tht as the crash-ride and the stage for regular riding, thats my experience with using and seeing a lot of cymbals. theres a drummer i tech for that actually uses a sweetride as his 2nd crash, crazy bloke. just more options and opinions thrown out there,

when them sticks break, i would suggest gettin vic firth 7a drumsticks with wooden tips i haven't had any trouble with them so far
