Consoles are stuck with specific hardware and PC hardware manufacturers are constantly pushing hard to release better hardware. Within weeks consoles are outdated.

I still say this sums it up: Anyone that feels that using a gamepad in an FPS is superior gameplay is beyond convincing with common sense.

@chrislgrooms you have to think about it more like this. The Gamepad lovers think that FPS is better on gamepads because they get kills easier with them. What they may or may not realize though, is it seems easier because autoaim is turned on in games with Gamepads...

Basically, it gives the illusion that it controls better but in reality they probably just suck with a mouse.

However for other types of games like SOME rpg's and most fighting or third person games consoles are usually a more smooth experience. I'm not a console fanboy, I don't really like console fps games. They usually suck prepared to the pc versions. In fact, i'm mostly a pc gamer. But what you are saying is just plain bullshit. One thing pc's can't offer is a GUARANTEE of a smooth fps and a non glichy game.

... what audience is this for? Why is this on the PC... BF2 is way better i can already tell. No commanders, smaller squads, less classes, not as open (since a single character cant be more then 1 class your stuck with that class the entire round where as in bf2 you can be engineer in a tank until you die then switch and go snipe in the same round), maps are smaller, only 3 maps at launch, and its still beta but it looks like they took about 25% of the color spectrum out of the game...
