what if the mice drown by falling in the wine?-also wine isn't healthy 4 them and will KILL THEM like icu4 said-they should just put out the food and mouse food bowls with WATER in them-if they really care about them they will do that and stop giving them wine and having it in glasses the mice could fall into and drown!-from a mouse lover and owner.

Ha ha - my little rat enjoyed good beer with me, and it did him no harm. I am so glad the workmen did not resort to killing the little guys.

@DarkAngelAzreil Aw, that is precious! Currently, I have a naked rat who loves dark beer. I agree - I think there is a therapeutic effect from a small amount, and it makes their lives more interesting.

@DarkAngelAzreil "Bologna" was a rescue that was passed on to me by a friend. I wish I knew the source. He is huge and muscular. I really love him. His girlfriend is a wild English rat who comes out of the broom closet at night and gets into his cage and fluffs up his nest for him. He, in turn, begs food for her. Cutest thing ever.
