This came out when I was in my early twenties working at a video store. We played this over the speakers three times a day for a long while. I remember all the disparate tastes of the employees I worked with and the heated musical arguments that took place of what should be played. Hardcore punk, country , alternative, R&B. The magic of this album brought everyone together. :)

I started listening to her after driving around with my grandmother as a young girl. This is by far one of my favorites and no matter how many versions by other artists I hear, no one does it better than Natalie Cole.
She is singing this song in her current tour. I just saw her on 3/16/11 in Sarasota, Florida and in the middle of the show she started singing this, it brought me to tears, so beautiful and peaceful, it took me back to 1991 when I bought this album and played it for the first time, such a wonderful memory. Thank you Miss Natalie, for sharing this beauty with all of us.
Truly sublime...the first time I heard this I was awoken from my sleep as she sang it on the Michael Parkinson show many years ago in England. What a wonderful voice to be woken by, I thought I was dreaming..aaahh.
