The "Hockinson Version" is easily still the best adaptation of Dr. Horrible that I've yet seen on YouTube. There are other versions, but few have done so well with their chosen actors and in overcoming the technical difficulties (in putting Dr. Horrible on stage), so I have to say...the Hockinson Version is my favorite production thus far. Well done, guys.
The addition of a Moist Solo was an interesting choice, but I wish the actor had been a little more confident. His portrayal of the character was great thus far, but I could barely understand his lyrics in his song.
Ahh, you guys missed a crucial aspect of Penny's Song, you didn't go in for the almost kiss like they do in the original. Not that I'm complaining of course, this is a pretty good adaption so far (even though some of your stage placement of props and scenes could do some work).
@Mike0Powell Ahh! Yes! I know it was missing. I brought up the almost kiss and the girl who played Penny sort of just blew it off and argued that it wasn't an almost kiss in the movie, so I decided to just not fight it. But I'm glad somebody else sees it. =)
I agree with your dissclusion of penis in a high school drama, but you should totaly teach your kids (captain hammer especially) about comedic timing.
What is the signifigance of the 'moist' song? was that an missing or deleted scene of sorts? Because this isn't the first video i saw feature this song
@mgrchip It's from Commentary! The Musical. On the DVD, the director's commentary is it's own seperate musical and that is where the Moist song is from.
Oh my God! I'm watching all the play, but I have to say: it's amazing! Dr. Horrible has a really nice voice! Buuuut... He changed lines! XD Just saying that because it was funny... "Go ahead and laugh, I'm the fun-- and I wounder why..."
It was so cute! hahah!
I love his hair too =P
Well, I'm gonna watch the other parts now!
Other thing, I didn't like Penny singing D: sometimes too slow, other times higher than the songs.

@firefoxgurl0 The moist song is good if you get someone with at least a decent singing voice to do the part of Moist.

Very cool that you included 'Nobody wants to be moist'.
I think Cameron's voice wasn't very strong though..
Good work though =)
"The hammer is... yea you get it." Lol!
