I bought this DVD the other day and watched it. Charleton Heston has played much better roles. There was great action scenes, however, the storyline was too predictable. After the kids where returned the move just dragged on. I can't say that this is one of the better westerns in my DVD collection.

"The Magnificent Seven".... now there is a CLASSIC for you!

Great film from a real genius, despite the stupidity of Columbia Pictures by cutting it roughfly. perfect cast and above them all is Warren Oates. Viva Peckinpah!!! Thanks from Israel.
