  • Great video, Thanks for the info.Keep up the great work

  • this was made in the fucking 80's

  • was this video made in the 70's? anyway, great info!

  • Most new batteries don't have removable vent caps. As for years of service, this is about four to five years unless you don't mind being stranded with a dead battery. The one in my work truck bit the dust friday at about 6 years. It's better to control the time of failure and replace it when it's not going to inconvenience you.

  • shit! my '88 Honda Prelude still wont start after i replace the sparkplug cables, distributor, distributor cap and the little rotor, and finally the ignition coil!!! SHIT!!! help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @2ub40 Have you checked if you have fuel going in? I mean your fuel pump of fuel pressure might be an issue or you might be looking at a sensor problem. To check the fuel pump without taking anything apart, turn the key on but not all the way where your starter would turn, listen see if you hear a humming sound coming form the rear of the car (that should be your fuel pump), the sound should stop after a few seconds. If you hear nothing your fuel pump might be shot.

    Hope this helps.

  • @barbeau1981 I have an 88 jetta..ignition key switch failed so theres a button start installed. The car was fuel injection but modified to a carb. The starter is brand new..battery is new...the starter relay is mounted on the fender..now all i hear is strong clicking from the relay...but doesnt turn over...when it did in the past it would get hot cause the starter is a half an inch from the manifold..I would half to wait an hour before it cooled down..I installed a heat shield..but nothing.

  • my battery is fully charged and has good new starter but my car still not starting only clicking sound.. help!!

  • thanks man
