  • do u have any dog friendly birds

  • i have a dog named captain

  • how much for one bird?

do u have a phone number?

  • Can you tell me where you got your parrots? I'm in California. Does your friend have a website or number. Location?

  • I feel for the one in the corner! He wants no part of that mess on the left lol!

  • @ArcaneThingOfBeauty Lol! I know. The eggs are laid every other day and hatch every two days. I think the "bully" was the oldest and the one in the corner the youngest.

  • "touch me again, And ill kick your butt! the little baby grey said!

  • do you have access to a parrot sanctuary or something? You sure seem to have alot of adorable parrots!

  • @WolfieMB1 My friend professionally breeds parrots. I have four and got them all from him.

  • can we adopt these

  • @shzmk Unfortunately, that video was filmed 9 months ago and they have already found homes!

  • @OnePickieChickie can u let me know when u get more

  • @OnePickieChickie You live in New York and the person who breeds these doesn't ship. I'm sorry!

  • Typical bickering siblings!! "Mom, he's touching me."

  • Lol! Watch it again and focus on the one in the corner!

  • I know there not for sale, but how much would one cost?

  • They are already sold. If you were to buy one directly from my friend who bred these, you would pay $1,000.00 USD. They are considerably more at pet stores.

  • They are beauties, Karla!

    I love baby grey's asthmatic-like growling!!!!

    Too funny!

  • I was scanning my highschool year book that day to upload to Facebook for an alumni group which took me a good three hours. Well, it's The Gold Fleck Edition because one of these rascals flicked a piece of sawdust onto the glass that I didn't notice until I was done! The youngest in the corner cracks me up! Thank you for commenting.

  • my mom just got her african gray today, its like half as old as these guys. I'm so happy.

  • Congratulations! Just make sure nobody ever cusses around the bird. You can say a word once and they'll pick it up. You're in for a lot of fun!

  • Greys are too cute. So much personality!

  • This was the first time I'd seen babies. They are little rascals.

  • If these where one sale, I'd have the one on the right!

  • The one on the right is the youngest. The eggs are laid every two days and that one hatched last so it is 6 days younger than the bully.

  • I mean four days younger!

  • are they yours?

  • No, they aren't and they are already sold. They are weaned now.

  • oh it would be AWSOME if they were!! :D

  • They are my friends. I suggested he put the parents together when the mate of one died and the other was all alone. The fmom, Buddie, is 15 years old and had never had babies before! We named Buddie when we lived with the owner and my children were very young. (My daughter was in first grade and she's 18 now.)

  • lol its growling thats cute!

  • Breeder or wild greys will do the same thing. I've never heard a tame one do that though!

  • Goodness! So grumpy. :-) I've never heard birds growl before... is that a normal baby gray vocalization, or is it just something they do when scared or angry? They're absolutely adorable, thanks for posting.

  • The adults will growl too when they are alarmed. You won't see this in pets generally but breeders who aren't exposed to people much growl like this.

  • another thing is both my grey only drink hot water but drink cold water bit by bit whys thts thanks if u can help :o)

  • They can't drink hot water if you don't give them hot water. Just give them tap water and they will drink it when it reaches room temperature.

  • This video rocks ! It reminds me of bevo when I brought him home when he was 6 1/2 weeks old . I look back and I some times miss hand feeding him ....Birds Rule !

  • I didn't know you handfed Bevo from 6 1/2 weeks. I'm down here at Birds of Paradise and the three babies are out of the brooder now. Boy they sure grew a lot since I made this video.

  • ok

    then

  • Ted says your Congo African Grays need to be 5-7 years old before you breed them.

  • thankz by the way have u got a msn account il chat 2 u on there if u have ?

  • No, I sure don't.

  • no they r not related i got them both from diffenrent breeders lol

  • OK. Well, I am going to visit my friend who these babies belong to today. I'll try to remember to ask him how old grays should be before they are bred.

  • the males about 1year and a half the females 1 year old wht age will they start 2 breed and should i get a breeding box yet ?

  • Are they related? If they are, you must NOT breed them. The babies will most likely be born with deformities like no toes, blind, etc.

I am under the understanding they should be at least five years old. I can't say this for a fact. I'll have to ask my friend who breeds them as a profession. This is what I remember off the top of my head.

  • nope shes ok its when she sleeps the make sleeps with a foot in the air but the female sleeps like a pigen ? is it normal ?

  • As long as the cage is clean, the water is changed daily plus any time there is poop in it, they are eating well, aren't puffed up or sitting on the bottom of the cage or any other abnormal things like crust or drainage around the nostrils, they should be fine. If the fighting is causing injuries, they should be put in separate cages but allowed to interact by keeping them close together.

  • its the female shes doest like me but fights with my male shes about a year old and she eats good but underweight and sleeps and sits like a pigen so is she sick or mating ?

  • Is she sitting on the bottom of the cage? Is she puffed up?

  • hello ive got 2 afircan greys and the thing is the male attacks her and there 1 years old handreaded and in the same cage but the last 4 weeks my females been laying down like when she was a baby is that shes gona lay a egg or sumthing bad thank you?

  • If he bends down low and flutters her wings a bit, she is assuming the mating position.

If she is on the bottom of the cage and puffed up, she is sick.

Let me know immediately if that is the case.

  • lol 00:04 two of them are fighting and the other is mindng it's own buisness!!

  • I know! It's like it's thinking, "If i sit here really quiet, he won't go after me next!" Lol!

  • Yeah! That is so sweet! When I look at those baby Greys I think, "Jojo was once like that." Also, their bodies don't look ready get but their heads look ready. How strange! This vid is sooooooo sweet & adorable!

  • A friend of Ted's, who breeds Congo Grays, had one who was talking before it left the brooder! One of these babies said "hello" to Ted!

  • Sweet! Well, I love the bickering and we're celibrating Jojo's 1st birthday this month! Woo-hoo!

  • I was scanning my high school year books when Ted brought them into the office and, unbeknownst to me, the bickering caused a speck of sawdust to land on the glass, which I didn't notice! UGH!

  • haha the sounds they make are amazing i wouldn't expect to see baby birds when i'd hear that...okay they're not that beautiful but still cute =) i love all Animals!

  • I know~! They ALL made that sound and lunged at me when I opened the brooder! I was visiting Birds of Paradise and had never interacted with baby Congo Grays so I wasn't expecting it! They are kinda strange looking at this stage!

  • They're so cute - and your camera is *such* high quality!

  • Thank you! It's a Canon Powershot S5 IS. It's not a video camera but a digital camera. They run about $400.00.

  • Lol, the one on the right is all like: I will be no part of this...

  • The one in the corner is the youngest. That's why it's so small. The eggs get laid every 2-3 days but mom sits on them right away so they hatch 2-3 days apart. The bully is the oldest, the victim, the 2nd and the little one in the corner the baby.

  • Oh they are so cute. Maybe I should get another one. Rocky loves my hubby and not me... :(

  • Your Rocky thinks your husband is his mate and you are a threat. That happens a lot. It's so frustrating when you want a bird to like you and they just won't no matter what you do!

  • This is so adorable! I just love birds!

  • I'm happy you enjoyed it!

  • haha looked like they both wanted to eat you towards the end.

  • Silly birds! Lol!

  • Very nice!!!!!

  • aww they're so cute!

  • I'm glad you liked it!

  • The bigger one hurted the tongue of the tiniest one, with his beak. Maybe he's trying to kill him because he doesn't breath well? He emits a strange sound, doesn't he? I think they should be separated...

  • They all make that strange sound. They are OK. It's not a breathing problem. Notice how the noise stopped. He was growling just like a puppy does.

  • The two on the right are just like, "C'mon man, leave us alone and get over it!" Ha ha. And they did the classic Grey "freeze" when they saw the camera. I wish I had gotten to see my Jackson when he was that young.

  • i feel sorry for the small one.

  • Absolutely adorable! :D And what interesting noises? :P Priceless...

  • LOL poor Frostie.. what a great video!! Sibling rivalry starts in the nest

  • 10/10***** Thanks for posting!

  • This must be baby animal day as I just uploaded a puppy video!! Those birdies are so cute!!!!

  • Cool. I'll have to check it out. Frostie doesn't like the sounds the babies make!

  • I'm sure that's the youngest ones. The parrots lay an egg every few days but sit on them right away so there is a noticeable difference in size.

I was visiting Birds of Paradise where I shot this video. When I opened up the brooder, the LUNGED at me and made that horrible noise and scared me to death! Lol! Imagine being afraid of something that was in an egg 6 weeks ago! Lol!

  • the one in the corner is all like "why am i haning out with these guys"

    and first post btw =D

  • Now that I looked at it again, the one in the corner is the smallest, the one who kept making the noise is the middle one and the attacker is the oldest of the three. Every time this video plays, Frostie starts saying, "Huh! Huh? Huh! Huh! Huh?" Lol! He sounded all concerned! Ahahah!
