@xMeatShieldx Those 40 are just repeats of Base instruments Ex. Piano - Keyboard, Bells, Marimba. Saxophone - Contrabass, That big one. Base drum - Timpani, Snare, Etc. Its just really that. Your amazing for playing at least many base instruments. but you dont play 40 instruments.

I'm a bass guitar player at heart, but by learning instruments such as piano, lead guitar, drums, etc., it's helped me think of new methods on bass, and helps to expand my knowledge of music theory and chords. But as JD27076 said below, variations of instruments aren't individual instruments, otherwise I could say that since I play a 7-string bass, I know 7 different instruments.
