We bought the Console, Sonic Adventure, the game guide, but no memory card due to a shipping problem! so we put our order in for the VMU and we had to pause the game overnight as a result! The dreamcast was revolutionary. Dreamcast brought internet gaming, high graphics games, compatibility with windows pcs, dreamcast brought 4 controller ports for multiplayer and something that no one has done to date. The visual memory card. Many of us will remember bringing up chao from this game on our visual memory cards. Dreamcast is timeless.

I'm not trying to make the point that the DC version is better. I'm saying DX does not "beat the shit out of it" as you say. Besides, the games on DX are Game Gear. They're good, but not necessarily worth getting the GC over the DC version. Vice versa with the DC DLC.
Yeah, but most of that DLC is really dumb and doesn't last long. Just little changes to the atmosphere and I don't want changes to an atmosphere that I grew up loving. I don't think any of that can compare to all the cool 2d games you get in the DX version, Game Gear or not. If I recall, the original didn't even have mission mode which is a huge upgrade.

We were so hyped to play it! However some shipping problem caused to have no memory cards in stock, Luckily this shop sold Memory cards imported from Japan. We had a ball with this game!
I miss Sonic, the REAL FUN sonic, back on those rainy days, alone in my room, playing sonic games on my dreamcast, listening to the sound test, beating chaos, and the biolizard, saving the world, sonic always made me feel like i could do anything, sonic just doesnt have that feeling anymore..=(
@Blitzwing989 I was the exact same way hehe i loved to just listen to the awesome songs on the sound test menu! For me Sonic Adventure was probably the Golden days of Sonic. Story, Music and gameplay everything just melted together so perfect.

@Blitzwing989 Correction...9 acts with 2 levels each, one classic, one modern. Plus there are a ton of missions in each of the levels that changes it up. There's already a clip of a Knuckles vs. Sonic race in GHZ and the enemies have changed...some of them are gigantic and you bounce of them.

I can't think of the exact name of the song, but I remember in the first Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast, there was a song in the BGM listing that had a very heavy smooth jazz undertone to it, like you'd hear in a piano bar.
It was really smooth, and actually has the same melody as the chorus in the theme to E106.

this song is so..beautiful. everytime i go on the city hall area with sonic, i spend at least an hour on that part EVERYTIME i go on it. theres just so much to do, like try and get ontp the buildings your not suppose togo on, so much fun :)

This is one of my biggest favs from Sonic Adventure Dx its a nice calm song to listen to get rid of your frustration when your trying to avoid getting hit by the damn cars and police vehicles in the city lol -favs-

I can't think of the exact name of the song, but I remember in the first Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast, there was a song in the BGM listing that had a very heavy smooth jazz undertone to it, like you'd hear in a piano bar.
It was really smooth, and actually has the same melody as the chorus in the theme to E106.
If you could find this song, could you upload it?
