Awesome bike, man. I want an S1000RR. I have an 07 CBR 1000 which is fine for now though. I put a ton of money into it so it is not going anywhere anytime soon. lol. Not a huge fan of chrome, but to each his own I guess.

Yea I thought I was the only one, you sound like a friggin serial killer man wth. O yeah the carbon accents are beautiful, but I personally don't like the carbon+chrome thing together. I think you either go carbon or chrome but not together that's just gay. My opinion of course. Ak system sounds amazing btw!

@FASTLANEBERLIN Total weight reduction was more than 30lbs. The bike feels awesome with the carbon fiber wheels. It's much more respondsive and accelerates much better.

@D124k34tw Thanks. I've noticed that some people get courageous via the internet and post lewd, ignorant, racist and disrespectful comments about my bike. I've traveled to several states for bike shows/events and never heard negative comments regarding the bike. Either way, we're all entitled to our opinions, chrome isn't for everyone but I think it looks nice.

You start of with the whole race-theme but then the chrome comes into play and it looks like a cultural crash imo.

@laxxxxxxen Your opinion makes sense. The chrome rims have been replaced with BST carbon fiber rims. The stock swing arm was polished, which looked like a dull chrome finish and I didn't like it. I had the swing arm chromed and it looks much better. Thanks for your input :-)

Wish i had a S1000..

Problem is i´m 22 and have never ridden faster bikes. just old 400cc crap bikes.

I know though that i decide what happens when twist the wrist so i´m not dumb.

I just want to learn how to ride bikes properly while i´m young so i can carry that experience as i get older.

The beemer seems like a nice bike, should i get one?

I don´t like to race on the street but would love to learn how to ride it a track and get to know it

@ibsabur I should say that i´m a BMW fanatic in terms of cars and this is the only litrebike i would consider.

I think the others except the Honda are downright ugly. Proportions is not a word the japanese MC makers know.

@RETICS1 The exhaust is the BMW Akra slip on with headers and mid pipe from HMF. It's the only way to get the short can with the laser branded Akra logo. Akra sells a short can full exhaust but it has a 'sticker' logo.

I've got a silver 2010 and I'm trying to do all the carbon work right now. Love the bike, but the chrome is super tacky imho.

@TrentC249: We're all entitled to our opinions. I think the stock plastic side and top tank covers, front fender, rear hugger, chain guard, engine spoiler (lower fairings), rearsets, levers, passenger pegs, rims, and exhaust are tacky. That's why I chose to change all of that. I recently swapped the stock chrome rims for BST carbon fiber rims. I'll post an updated video once the weather improves :-)
