  • Wow. So inspiring <3. I have done a few works myself! I did it a while ago I just turned 14. I am self taught.

  • @TheArtistNinja same here ive been painting since summer and drawing for 3. turns out i had a hidden talent. im now 16 and got a job in downtown chicago to paint on canvas. when your self taught you know you have potential for something great.

  • Did you lick your fingers while doing this? Hmm? Hmm? And be honest! ;D

  • 1 person doesnt like chocolate...or lions

  • @sarahyourrad lol

  • THIS IS SO AWESOME! Did you eat it afterwards? :p

  • rowr!

  • That was awesome. Just as good as portraitart's. I wanna try this. How do you dry it?

  • @blastoiseftw2 its mine!! haha :)

  • did this dry? and what did you do with it? L

  • @bradlehwilleh it sorta dried! i sprayed it a lot with hairspray so it kind of had a layer around it. it seemed to work, but when i put it on exhibition in my school..it was hanging for too long in the hot lights and it a little melted. it stil looked good, but some areas look scratchy :(

  • Its amazing!!!!!! You Have a Talent!!!!!!

  • Wow! What inspired you to use chocolate syrup?? Once again, an amazing art piece! Thanks for sharing your talent, I love watching your videos :)

  • @ONYXAVEDON I always wanted to use syrup then i saw an artist on youtube do it. ThePortraitArt, so i gave it a try :D and thanks so much i love seeing the same people comment ;)

  • @ 2.30 he draws 2 lines at the nose.. And you C the both dissapear... It must be hard to make that.. RESPECT and Bon Apetit!

  • @Alegasy yeah the syrup kept running :( i had to keep drawing the lines until they were dry enough to stay still :P

  • you should use your fingers more and lick em clean regularly ;) great job

  • @qpidoremix yess it involved a lot of finger licking :D

  • i always thought it was bizarre of me to draw with lipstick and blush, i actually bought blush just to draw with it syrup??? i have to try that

    AWSOME job btw :)

  • @ThePreciouscirirta it is bizarre! haha but thats the good thing about contemporary art. i kinda dont like new art tho. very lacking in skill :/

  • r u bionic? lol.....have you ever tried drawing with lipstick...(barely made a face =[)

  • @sohnnysdream haha noo. but i saw electyicasylumart do the lipstick angelina jolie. that was amazing. i may give it a try, just dont want to be seen buying lipstick, or waste money on it :D

  • god yeah. 3 mins would be amazing. If i could, i'd be rich haha

    thanks mate :D

  • Funny how 2(ish) hours of work can be crammed into 3 and a half minutes. Don't you just wish thats how long it would actually take?

Good.. emm.... drawing? though. Nicely done!

  • how much syrup did you have to buy for this lol

  • @princesspop2K8

half a 500ml bottle was used i think. i still have the rest in the cupboard somewhere...though its probably expired..lol

  • yesss. thanks to jack sparrow haha

  • Couldn''t you use a paintbrush? But, it still looks pretty awesome...all thanx to that special spoon!!

  • i wanted to make it more challenging! gives the piece something more if u do it awkwardly haha

  • ahhhh, i see...

  • hey i added you as a friend. I like your vids. could you take a look at one of mine?

  • omfg, ur so pro!

  • thanks nishale :3

  • Amazing artwork, it's great to see how you got to the final piece. The detail you've put in is ver impressive.

    5 Stars! :)

  • thanks so much!

  • its pretty nice. a little bit disproportioned but not that much and im not sure how hard it is to use chocolate syrup so all i can say is good job :)

  • damn haha where is the proportion out dyu think? :P

  • well its not really disproportional, just a little out of position. Judging by what little i can see of the reference photo the lion is looking forward with the neck a bit more extended. it makes the lion look more majestic and confident.

in your rendition of it it looks a bit like its pulling its head back into its neck more than it should, making it look like its staring in reproach or disdainfully. a lot of times it is little touches like these that give something character and personality.

  • i totally know what you mean. i find with pencil portraiture theres 3 things that make it realistic; the anatomy, the skin tones and the personality coming through the picture. The latter is definately the hardest to capture, but i think i'm making progress with some of my drawings...

  • nice bro!

  • class...FISHERR... i would love to put chocolate syrup over you and lick it off :)

  • thats so cool..

  • i was gonna say that! l;ove it! 5*

  • if i say this is great...would i be bragging?

  • Who knows?

I say the art is in good taste though.

  • hahaha your very funny alex =]
