I love my E36 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 9.4HP in the 328i. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

Most E36 owners install a Signature Motoring performance intake kit for around 9HP gain. Cost is a mere $150 or so, best value per HP gain in the E36 line.
Install time if only about 30-45 minutes in most applications. I have one in my 94 325i cabrio.
Crazy nice sound. Most performance guys install a Signature Motoring performance intake kit for around 9HP gain in the E30.
Install time is about 30 min, maybe 45 for two left hands. LOL
the body is supposed to look similar to production but most of that car is tube and lexan, etc. The entirety of the suspension and interior is completely custom FIA-spec racecar shit. The engine is based off an old school F1 powerplant, the KV675, which was developed for LMP675 class in '01. It's a ~3.4L V8 that rev's to almost 11K and makes about ~580hp, which is pretty gnarly considering the size of the motor and that fact that it only weighs like 500lbs fully dressed.
Judds were used in F1,F2 and F3000 from 1971 onward, they were in WSC cars from 91-93 and after a joint Judd Yamaha deal that ended in 99 beacame involved with ACO cars until now. When in F1 a team running Judd Honda usually started the year with 50 engines, when you add up all the teams that used them and the F2 and F3000 engines there is alot more used F1,F2 and F3000 engines out there than used in ACO class spec cars.
