As a future pharmacist, I can tell you that vaccines have done way more good than harm, and have eradicated childhood diseases that used to be devastating, like measles. Because all of the studies I've read states that mathylmercury has an almost 100% uptake, which means that it's almost completely absorbed into the system during digestion. Which is why the EPA has established limits for the safety levels of mercury in food and water.
You're also completely ignoring the fact that tuna(and other mercury contaminated food and even water) is a regular part of the average diet, while vaccines are occasional.

I have been debating him in the "What's in your flu vaccine" thread for many weeks. I have found him to be highly rude, arrogant and in sometimes evasive. But there is nothing more in that thread to justify "spamming out" his comments than there would be for many equally rude and arrogant opponents of vaccines. This does suggest some dishonesty on the part of one or more anti-vaxers.
Its unfortunate (and doesn't help the anti-vaccine case) that there is no way of authenticating this conversation. Who is the interviewer? Which company? Who is the woman and what is her authority within the company?

True story: two days after getting the flu shot, my skin became grey, I stumbled around erratically, attacked my co-workers, and soon lost the ability to process anything other than human flesh for nutrition.

@WithurShield Also, viruses getting stronger are not because of the flu vaccine. With or without a vaccine, viruses are capable of mutating. In fact, with or without vaccines, if someone had H2N5 and another person had H3N1, there can be cross mutation to get H3N5, H2N1 as new strains. So for every person vaccinated, you are PREVENTING another possible case of mutation. PS the H simply stands for Hemagglutinin & N for Neuraminidase, the numbers being the subtypes, so there are many combinations!

the last time we got a flue shot, my 9 month old baby (first child) ended up with a fever of 103!! I have never been so scared in my life!
When I asked his pediatrician what happen, this is what I was told.

The febrile symptoms is part of your immune response in combating what it perceives to be a viral infection. This doesn't always happen, but the flu-like symptoms you get will disappear MUCH quicker than a real flu AND you are not contagious. The vaccine is NOT the flu itself!

Sigh. Pharmaceutical companies are up to all kinds of evil money-grabbing life-harming bullshit, but the flu shot is actually not part of that.
Flu shots are consistently over 80% effective vs the major strain of flu it's designed for, and around 20% effective vs other types of flu. It's not a guarantee to work, and it's not without side effects, but it actually does work overall.
That said, I'm too lazy and too cheap to get the flu shot. But save your anger for the REAL scams.

The reason why for SOME vaccines, HIV patients or those who are immuno-compromised/suppressed do NOT have a sufficient T-cell count to develop a proper immune response to the vaccine components, which may be an inactivated virus, a portion of the virus, or a killed virus

Put the list of possibe side effects of the H1N1 vaccine next to the list of symtoms from the flu and you will see my point.. The flu shot is for the most part not even effective in keeping you from getting a runny nose.. in fact, the way they deceide what flu shot to give is they go to china to see what flu is popular there then come back her and manufacture the flu vaccine. If we get another strain, that shot is useless. The flu is not deadly the vaccine according to its makers can be.

Please compare the list of side effects from the vaccine and the acctual flu and tell me which one is scarier. Look at the long line of nurses in New York that protested mandatory vaccinatons.. these are nurses not wanting to take it and willing to lose their jobs.

This happens to be the time where children get vaccines, and it happens then whether the child receives vaccines or not.

Scarlet Fever is a BACTERIAL infection caused by strep. The decline in it (which occurred after the introduction of a vaccine) is the result of penicillin preventing strep advancements. As for Polio, the numbers show otherwise. Case rates were NOT falling until AFTER the introduction of the vaccine. MORTALITY rates were falling because of the invention of the iron lung and other treatments, but that did NOT lead to a drop in cases.

YES THERE WAS A VACCINE FOR SCARLET FEVER. Patented 1924 by George and Gladys DIck, it became moot with the invention of PENICILLIN which means NO VACCINE IS NECESSARY.
Polio cases rates were NOT falling. They were maintaining a consistent level on average until the introduction of the vaccine. The fact that the couple of years prior showed a slight decline was part of the normal cycle, as evidenced by previous cycles over the prior century. After the vax it virtually disappeared in 5 years.

Because all of the studies I've read states that mathylmercury has an almost 100% uptake, which means that it's almost completely absorbed into the system during digestion. Which is why the EPA has established limits for the safety levels of mercury in food and water.

The most obvious form of conspiracy is the party political system. It is, by very defnition conspiratorial. Under the guise of democracy we are given the choice each election of throwing out the current mob or putting back the mob we threw out last time! In reality, no democracy exists because politicians can be castigated for representing their constituents rather than the party line. And we wonder why they both end up doing the same! ...and that is a very, very naive thing to say.
Many extremely dangerous vaccine-preventable diseases have been greatly reduced due to strong national vaccination programs. Smallpox is probably the best example, however there are many others... Polio, Rubella. The number of people contracting these viruses has been greatly reduced over the past century alone, due to vaccination.
However vaccination against diseases such as Influenza is obviously difficult due to the quantity of strains.

The horrible truth is that vaccines and "recommended" vaccine schedules are orchestrated by a loop of companies, independent scientist researchers, doctors and nurses who ALL get paid every time your child gets pumped with Thimerosal, Mercury, Formaldehyde and Chicken Embryo cells.....except the unsuspecting parent.
Merck does not care about your child. They are all in an industry where keeping parents in the dark about adverse reactions and ingredients is crucial to their cash flow.

Meningitis c doesnt exist oh god the list goes on and all. All these diseases that suddenly disapeared because of vaccinations.

A recent poll held at the end of September by Ilta-Sanomat rendered the exact same percentage as the Helsingin Sanomat gallup, 75% WILL NOT be taking the vaccine. Over 16,000 people took part in the Ilta-Sanomat poll.
So it seems that in spite of intense government and mainstream media propaganda and fear mongering on the swine flu, the Finnish people have NOT bought the hype. Better luck next time.

GREAT NEWS from UK! Just spoke 2 friend who works in hospital, Many, Many staff not having the shot! Ward matrons do not want staff to have it because they end up with so many staff off SICK!
MORE STAFF HAVE TIME OFF FROM THE FLU SHOT THAN THEY DO THE ACTUAL FLU!
Also behind closed doors Doctors are telling staff, there is no benefit in taking the shot!

Oh, so it's a "preservative" therefore MERCURY is somehow SAFE to inject directly into our veins. The girl who works at the place won't take the shot herself. i read that pediatricians have the LOWEST compliance rate for vaccinating their own kids. Interesting.
