The mythbusters have done great things for science and entertainment. If I had known they were going to be there I would have tried to go Stewart, Colbert, Savage, Hyneman - perfection.
i know this isnt it, but; i saw them on the colbert report and they said they are up to going to the moon to see if its possible. i want the colbert nation to back that up. well... it wouldent prove we went there then. but with all the trouble nasa has had even recently(not that recently) to get to orbit, it seems hard still. or a ploy to get more cash that way to fule the black space ops..... i like mythbusters.
@bnpbnptgtr You have the right to express your opinion. And even though I personally do not agree with your opinion, nor the offensive way you choose to express it, many liberals have gone to their death defending the freedom for you to express that opinion. Please be respectful!

Mythbusters ran out of myths so now to keep the quota alive they must turn political or controversial. Who would have thought so called "scientist" sell out? Manhattan Project*cough* Oops! silly me it's nothing new.
@Death2Fanboys Do you really think they do their show for free? They were hired to do some experiments with the crowd and entertain... that is what they did.
@echosyst I believe you may have diverged from the subject matter being addressed here. We, (I and most of the other participants below ) are talking about the subject of the video, i.e. a wave of 200,000+ people conducted by two TV MythBuster celebrities. What relevance does said wave have to do with liberals, who is going to win the election tomorrow, President Obama, or ex-hippies? The majority of Americans would have no problem with conducting a wave experiment on the Mall.
Obama is going to be appearing on a Mythbusters episode. They are re-doing the Archimedes death ray experiment as a favor to him. So lets get this straight. They already busted the myth but they are doing it again to appease a left wing politician. Their credibility is in a shambles.
echosyst, be very, very, very afraid that your views are in the vast fringe minority of Americans. Having attended this rally and participating in the wave, I can attest to the validity, and sanity of the MythBuster's methodology. And, yes, I have a Masters Degree in Science!
If I am in the vast fringe why are liberals headed for a drubbing at the polls tomorrow? You have no self awareness. I don't care if you have a Master's degree. Obama went to Harvard and he obviously is not so smart. I have NOTHING to fear. It is amazing to see all of these over the hill hippies that used to talk about speaking "truth to power" arguing on behalf of big brother. They have BECOME the establishment and are desperately clinging to power.

My position is logical. For one to believe the Mythbusters conclusions their intelligence or lack thereof must be taken into account. Appearing at this rally and allowing Barack Obama to use their show for propaganda purposes casts serious doubt on their credibility. They of course have the right to say and do what they please. If they think it is worth jeopardizing their audience to collaborate with discredited politicians and pundits that is their affair.
@echosyst You are a true idiot sir... please take some time and re-read what you just wrote. then repeat it to yourself while you look in the mirror and try to find some kind of logic somewhere in your babble.
@echosyst Couldn't agree more. Sad to see politicized science. It happened in Russia, it happened in Atlas Shrugged, and it happens whenever politics touches science. Leave science in the free markets.
@ravemachin She probably wasn't, but Steve Jobs probably was. Doesn't mean sociopaths can't occasionally contribute great ideas to this world. In any event, Atlas Shrugged certainly has ideas in it that are worth pondering.
i'm in shock. my dada went to the rally and i was doing a cosplay meet with my friends and helping out with a play at my school. if i had know they would be there, i would have said "CANCEL EVERYTHING!!! I'm going to D.C. and meeting the MYTHBUSTERS!!!!"
How can anyone hate mythbusters? They're just awesome, i mean come on!!!

@Death2Fanboys How on earth is this selling out? They're not making money off it, and there was nothing controversial about this.
