@FERR3TFACE There is nerve tissue in the tooth, what you can also do is put it in milk and rush to the dentist. Usually rinsing it off with water and putting it back in, and holding it in place by biting softly on something soft while going towards the dentist is the best idea.

Teeth can also die in case you didn't know. That's when they turn grey because of the dead nerve tissue inside. This then needs to be removed and filled up and the tooth oftenly needs to be bleached.
