The original release was heavily cut, it was a very long movie. Be glad they cut it because the original sucks bad, they cut out all the tangerine dream soundtrack and the scenes are boring.

the first time I checked this movie out,I was "smoked out".Legend was hardcore to see sober too.

I have seen the euro&u.s.a version.I don´t know which cut was superior.both versions were solid.euro legend´s music is done by goldsmith(?)usa cut ;tangerine dream.

Bloodyhell, i forgot just how kinda scary this was. it was my favourite movie when i was 4. god, im so surprised that i didnt get nightmares. the green woman thing that comes out the lake used to scare THE HELL outta me. LOL. ah, i love the end. such good memories. :'(

While it may have been artificially deepened via "Hollywood magic",it IS Tim's voice.Not having heard his original voice,it would be difficult for you to listen for his inflections and accent,but they ARE there.He has a foppish English accent.I would suggest looking for(if possible where you live)an American mini-series named "IT",in it he plays an evil circus clown who lures children underground with a bouncing balloon.His voice is similar in that one.
