I'll never buy another D-Link product after my router bricked itself randomly after two months. Called customer support, and the guy didn't understand what I was talking about. That was my third dead d-link router.  I should have figured it out after the first two.

But wich gpu's has anybody ever build a 3D htpc ?? doest i even work ?? plse help me out anyone =( grtz

@lifeisallaboutmusic8 sounds like cost is no option either. I'd just go with Nvidia's GTX 580. or a pair of them in SLI Hard drive won't matter quite so much when it comes to the OS since you'll want seperate ones to run the media ( 2TB or 3 TB units) I'm guessing a 60 GB SSD for the Operating System 12gb of ddr3 and you won't really need a 6 core i7. a decent 870 quad core will be fine. most of those specs are overkill unless you're going to be a high end gamer with it too

Boxee Box is very similar to Xbox Media Center, the linux based media center now for PC, Mac, Linux, that was originally for the original Xbox that was modded. Boxee will play anything- literally. The original Xbox falls a little short on that, now that it is outdated as hell. I do think that XBMC looks better, and that a custom media PC running XBMC would be better, but for 200 bones- Boxee is a very damn good alternative. I think I will be picking one up before I drop 700 on a media PC.
