  • Still a very decent system to today's standards. All i would do is a gpu upgrade.

  • OMG I can not beleave this.... peeps are still intrested in this vid LOL...I'm not cussing you luanswan as i loved you making it in the first place hehe ..I've sadly left this rig back in the uk...did get to use it one last time over crimbo...but man, yep still a good PC :)....but now over here in OZ I have a much much better one...and it cost about half of what i paid for this Vadim...still a good build/WC....hehe..good to see your still around dude..Steam me when you have the time:)

  • Your graphic cards are pretty old, but apart from that it's awesome. if i were you i wouldn't go for the asus striker mobo though, they're known for causing a lot of problems.

  • The system is being updated to a Core i7 and DDR3. I'll update the graphics cards later, possibly 3-way sli. I have a feeling Nvidia are gonna bring out some new revisions.

  • ahh that's cool. the nehalem processors are insanely fast, combined with ddr3 you're gonna have a beast machine. as for the graphics cards, why always stick with nvidia? ATI have the best cards on the market as of now, with the 4870x2 2GB of GDDR5.

nvidia might have better cards soon but im not counting on that yet.

  • In the benchmarks I've seen, Nvidia's ultimate solution (3-way GTX280's) beats the 2x 4870X2 in most tests and scales better. It's very expensive, yes, but ATI is dominating the price/performance sector at the moment.

  • @luanswan2002

That is becuase they are finally priced appropriately. now your not getting completely ripped off. but your still getting Garbage

  • omg you retard i said to some guy get an i7 and you say 'you retard core duo is better than and overclokerd i7' lol think you should get a core duo ;) unless you think your advice is a load of bulls**t.

  • Calm down! I just found it really gay that you were knocking his system saying it's "old" - IT'S NOT IT'S THE F-ING FASTEST THING EVER, he has so much performance he doesn't even need the Core i7. And yes and do NOT out run a Core 2 Duo when both are overclocked - check the benchies.

  • are u gonna get a core 2 duo then ;)

  • lol I've got one already..

  • fail i orderd a i7 940.

  • Awesome rig mate, I have the same case which I'll be putting my new build into.

    Great vid mate,

    Brian :)

  • Wats with the noise level on de

    APC Back UPS RS 1500VA

  • what kind of case are you using? i couldnt quite tell from the video.

  • your case is sick as balls

  • right now this is like nothing Lol

  • like a half year ago i would be like: OMG SICK PC!!!! WTF!!!!!

But now theres a whole bunch of new shit...Which pwns this pc....The PC market is just TOO fast!

  • agreed!

  • nice

  • dude all that and your still using vga...

  • dang old!

  • Yep!

  • i was wondering id you did a volt mod to your 8800 for higher frames?

  • Great vid. Very nice rig and cooling.

    Add 2x GTX's though ;)

  • Yeah. Amazing how quickly shit gets outdated :D

  • nice and clean good work there!

  • Takes ages.

  • yes buts looks very good for me.

  • Looks great, now I know how many tubes my Black pearl will have ;), great lighting inside as well.

You tempted by the GTX 280 watercooled versions?

  • Still waiting for your vids ;)

How long till you have all your components up and running? just an approximation would be appreciated.

Tell me one person that is not tempted to have a WC system integarted in to their system and then a GTX 280 in addition. :P

  • Black pearl mobo is up and running pics on sli zone, GTX and raid re added and OC should have vids early next week.

  • nice

  • Nice setup, the only problem with computers like this, is that you cannot transport them easily. After putting water cooling throughout my computer, it's added another 10KG worth of weight.

    Well done.

    P.S. Push it farther!

  • Yes water cooling adds the weight of a small sun inside your case. I can put my back out lifting my water cooled rigs. ;)

  • 2 gts g82 is fastest SLI for the price in my opinion

  • 2 x Leadtek 8800 Ultra leviathan pwn those 8800gts...

  • Not really, they don't overclock as well.

  • nice setup but maxishine and trubitar pwn your system

  • is this from vadim

  • Yes sir.

  • Awesome PC, I love the watercooling setup...Did it take you long to install?

    Keep up the great Work!

    Trubritar

  • this was added on 2-21-08

    there were 9800 gx2

and if u put that in sli that would be fast as fuck

  • Hmmmmm yeah but that's not really 2-way sli because it's 4 gpus :D. The 8800GTS 65nm version is faster than even the ULTRA because it can be overclocked so damn far when watercooled. But yeah, doesn't have as much memory.

  • that looks more like a soda dispensor

  • DDR3 1600Mhz platinum edition are faster!!

  • No benefits in benchmarking Crysis.

  • 64 bit vista does

  • YOU DONT SAY :O ?

    lol...

  • its not the fastest 2 way sli

  • It was.

  • when you posted this video (21 february, 2008) there were 8800 ultra's and gtx's which in 2 way sli are much better...

  • 1920x1200?

Then it is NOT the fastest 2-way SLI PC.

    Two 8800GTX would be faster!

  • what's the resolution of your screen?

  • 24inch - 1900 by 1200

  • what's the resolution of your screen?

  • ya know for all that cash ya spent 1 gtx or ultra would pwn those 2 gts in sli.

  • you wish it could... even 2 8800 GT's will beat a single gtx or ultra... go read some benchmarks.. durr...

  • ok lets get a couple things straight here.

    1. his system has 2 8800 gts 512mb (not 2 8800gt witch are faster than the gts cards so yes 2 of them would beat a gtx)

    2. bfg cards are terrible for the fact that they never bench as high as evga or xfx at stock settings and if you remove the stock heatsink off a bfg card it voids the lifetime warranty. (witch it dose not with evga or xfx)

  • 3. i have owned a 8800gts 640, sold it got a 8800 gtx 768 ee, my 3dmark went up 2k with out changing any thing, all stock settings.

    4. dont aways believe what you read some sites get paid to promote new products and give faulty reviews ect.

  • good for you, you owned a crappy card... two 8800 series cards, excluding your 8800 GTS is faster than the GTX or Ultra... who said that I read faulty reviews? they are called benchmarks, and theres not point for the reviewers to lie about the product... they gain nothing out of it...

  • lets get more things straight, the NEW 8800 GTS (which is what we are talking about, cuz this vid shows the NEW one) is faster than the 8800 GT... I have two bfg 8800 GT OC's and an evga 8800 GT in another rig, and I can tell that the BFG overclocks slightly better because of its stock overclock... you have no clue what you are talking about... and i don't really care about the warranty, it has nothing to do with performance

  • A GTX has a hard time beating even a single GTS... Also GTSs often OC better than GTX which gives them an extra edge over the GTX. The bandwith and memory size are both greater on GTX, but that only starts to show on very high resolutions and/or with AA..

  • oc added to a card name means nothing just higher stock frequencies with you can change your self if you want performance.

  • yes, but at the same time, when it is factory overclocked, its more stable than when you OC it by yourself... again, my BFG 8800 GT OC overclocks better than a standard EVGA 8800 GT... nothing against EVGA, its an amazing company, OC does make a difference...

  • ya make me laugh when you say that bfg cards stock clocks are higher in most cases there not compared to evga and xfx in there 8800 series go look at em on newegg and you will see also lets call the new gts by the right name so ppl know what you are taking about its a gts(g92). I bet that that g92 gpu score is lower than a 8800gtx gpu socre

  • i never said that... BFG cards never use stock clocks... they always overclock their cards from the stock clock... and yes, the 8800 GTS is still slower than the GTX, BUT if you haven't forgotten, you said that TWO of them wouldn't beat a GTX or Ultra... but you know ur wrong... ur avoiding your original claim...

  • nope i am not his description says gts not g92

  • it says NEW 512MB... if ur not an idiot, you would know that only the new 8800 GTS's have 512 MB video ram... you of all people should know that

  • it says NEW 512MB... if ur not an idiot, you would know that only the new 8800 GTS's have 512 MB video ram... you of all people should know that

  • well i dont know about you but i never bought a used graphics card thats just dumb. also a gtx will whoop a 8800gt with stock cooling at overclocking.

  • what are you talking about? are you retarded? NEW means the g92 chipset, not it being a new card... gawd... no shit GTX will beat a GT, but dual GT's will beat a GTX, and thats what I'm trying to say... jesus, been trying to repeat the same thing for more than 5 posts...

  • dont go crazy now i hope you figured out im messing with ya right

  • ...

  • Did I ever even mention buying factory overclocked cards? I said that one can often overclock their new GTS higher than GTX.

And I could also start about selected parts and better stock coolers when it comes to overclocking, but I guess that would be just nit picking.

  • yeah, that too...lol

  • lol - I like that with a computer as powerful as this, the first thing on the list in the About This Video blurb is:

    "1 x Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset"

    haha

  • Lol are you kidding me ? Fastest 2 way SLI PC avaiable and you use the 512MB GTS version?

Did you ever hear about something called 8800GTX?

And now dont tell me of the new GTS has higher clocks. you got a liquid cooling system there, so over clock the heck outta the GTX and it'll kill any GTS thanks to its extra memory with higher interface.

  • A watercooled, overclocked 8800GTS is faster than two watercooled 8800GTXs, even Ultras.

  • 2 that is

  • Go and try 1920x1200 and see how far you go with the GTS. And dont forget to watercool and overclock the GTX as well.

  • I don't know who's word to take really, the company who built the pc - Vadim - said two of the GTS cards are the fastest option.

  • The two GTS are the cards that have the best reseller price for that company. They're very cheap to buy from Nvidia and extremly easy to overclock. So they can make a fortune with these cards, selling them as overclocked versions.

Air cooled, you probably can push them further than a GTXs, liquid cooled however, a well overclocked GTX whipes the floor with them.

  • how much did you spent on all this?

  • Is that loud ??

  • soooooooo quiet actually, the watercooling system is perfection

  • To bad its gonna be the fastest for like a month :P

  • nice computer dude beeatiful

  • Guys it isn't mine lol

  • should add another 2GB ram to match everything you have.. jeez... how much did you spend on this? Nice rig!!

  • so ur selling it or what??

  • Nice, but that Watercooling looks crazym so much tubing.
