  • My top three would have to be:

    1- Vino/Rail Tracer

    2- Chane

    3- Jacuzzi

  • Vino is my favorite from this series!

  • I watched the entire three minutes of this, not realising it wasn't the full episode.

And now I feel like watching Baccano.

*Still has to watch 1-12 of Durarara e.e*

  • Eng dub link please? or Ep number?

  • @ArkaiiTheOriginal101 This is one of those rare animes where the English dub was actualy better. In the Japanese, all the characters have Japanese accents, obviously. But in the English all the characters actualy sound like 1930s gangsters.

  • @LucyFanBoy Totally agreed. This is the only anime I've ever seen where the English dub changes everything so much.

  • @ArkaiiTheOriginal101 Hey, you can find this on Hulu, I believe episode 16 (chose the video with out cc for the english dub)

  • Vino... give me a son!! *-* XDD

  • For some guy who was just completely covered in the blood of other people a couple of episodes ago, he's pretty adorable in this scene

  • @ARandomDaydreamer I know, right? Claire changes his moods with the drop of a hat.

  • So strange that I love the dub more than the sub....

  • @FaustVII674 agreed

  • i prefer to watch the dubs of anime if they are taken in places where Japanese is not likely to be the main language, such as america or Germany etc. but that does not mean i wouldn't watch it if its only in Japanese. i like both views

  • @MythrilOre123 thats exactlly my opinion! i live in the uk for example and i cant stand hellsing in japanese! why? becuase its set in england!!! XD

  • @digioverlord lmao! my goodness. that was a good one. and u prove my point on why i prefer to watch dubs in some cases.

  • Which episode is that ???

  • @JackichigoTG The very last one, I think.

  • HE'S TOO PRECIOUS. UUUGHDJSJSJDNSKND

  • To think Claire's voice is Kurosaki Ichigo :3

  • haha.. i love this scene.. when i first saw this scene in baccano.. i fallinlove with Claire.. LOL..

  • im going to judge this by response, i watched the first few bits in English and i hated carols voice so i switched to Japanese, i finished whole series should i re-watch in English apparently the dub is that good so opinions please

  • @Fatboyfilmz The English version is excellent. There are period-appropriate inflections and appropriate accents. It's the rare anime series that you -should- watch in English dub.

  • @Fatboyfilmz Carol appears for maybe a total of 10 minutes throughout the entire series.

  • @chewey yeah i know that but shes in the first scene you know and her voice was just so wrong >.>

  • @Fatboyfilmz Yeah, it's not great and nor are a couple other voices in the English dub. For the most part I prefer it though, just because the voice actors were able to pull off authentic accents. Whenever you watch it again you might as well give the dub a shot, but if you don't like it it doesn't really matter.

  • @Fatboyfilmz nah you know it was a really good series so im sure to watch it again and such and yeah ill give the dub a go, ive seen some English scenes and they are good im not going to say better but id say that is on par with the Japanese version

  • hey look its ichigo lol

  • wow. is it just me, or is this guy really self-centered?

  • @Alliekatmeowmeow you do realize he actually has narcissistic personality disorder right?

  • The first person who's talking sounds like Rin from Ao No Exorcist :D

  • 0:53 FORK DANCE

  • @highvoltage138 As long as you don't use it in the future, I'm glad. :)

  • @highvoltage138 Don't use 'Jap', it's a racial slur. Use JPN instead.

  • @highvoltage138 *sigh* You're an idiot, aren't you?

  • you missed out the bit where vinos hanging from the train. you missed out the funniest bit.

  • Can't argue with the guy's logic...

  • its not a good dub unless that actually sound italian.

  • @iamnuff1992 theyre in new york... why italian? cuz its italian mafia? that logic doesnt make the most sense, that would mean every one of the people in the gang had to be from italy, but that obviously not the case

  • @michu070

most of the italian mob WAS from italy, just like the russian and irish mobs were mostly russian/irish.

but no, i ment the irish accent is so awesome it can make anything better

  • @iamnuff1992 yeah im sure they were, that wasnt my point. i thought you didnt like the dub that was done for bacanno when its one of the like 5 animes that were dubbed nicely. but whatever ima shut up lol

  • Eating your fries with a fork? CLAIRE THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE PUT THE UTENSILS AWAY

  • @incorrigibleg They're not fries. It's pasta.

  • @relaxtherekiddo thank God.

  • @incorrigibleg Hahaha, I know right!

  • Eww Japanese subs. The english dub was miles better than this.

  • I have this sneaking suspicion about Vino's voice. Could someone get him to yell "Getsuga Tenshou" please? :)

  • You know as long as you don't piss him off, Vino seems like a pretty cool guy...

  • Just throwing my opinion on the dub out there, but it was better than most animes, but just certain voices got on my nerves such as juccuzi and Ladd. Other than that it was nice

  • Need...Moar...Baccano...*Dies*

  • It's a story about Americans. So I thought I should watch in English...But...Japanese seiyuus have better voice :| Sorry.

  • @MacrossAimo

So true. Using proper accents =/= Actually acting well. They may not be able to do American or French accents in the Japanese dub, but they can actually emote and capture the character nuances a hell of a lot better than the flat American actors can.

  • I love all the characters. However I also love all the Japanese light novels this anime was created from. that people are slowly translating to english

  • is this a good anime to watch

    is it funny?

  • @Marina1792 YES YES YES YESSSSSS

  • @ckim4evr thanks

then episode one of Baccano here i come !!!!!

  • @Marina1792 LOL the first episode's gonna be kind of confusing, but after that it gets really amazing so don't give up! ^^

  • Vino: "That girl is even more abnormal than you."

Rachel: "...the first thing you should do is fix that insensibility of yours."

    Vino: "Eh?" *Clueless look*

    Me: *FACEPALM*

  • uh, people, it's not a japanese dub. japanese is the original language. and i'll take the original anyday, thank you very much.

  • y'all stop fighting abot the dub/subs and just look at vino, its why this video was made!

and in my opinion both the dub and the sub the VAs express their characters well, so its no difference which one u watch their both pretty awesome

  • @tygr3eyz There isn't any fighting going on though. It's just a discussion about the shows dub is all. No one is raging over it. Stop blowing things out of proportion.

  • i like mosticholi

  • Vino is up there with Ladd when it comes to awesome and badass.

  • whats so good about this scene, there no killing, humour or even OH SHIT!!! moments

  • It's so fun to see Vino, the invincible Railtracer, the greatest assassin in the world, and this anime's most invincible badass as confused and vulnerable on the field of love. It's also fun to see Rachel cautiously and uncomfortably adjust from seeing him as a killing machine to a regular human being with problems.

  • Regardless of my personal opinion, I posted this clip before the dub was released.

  • @Fizzybubblespop I totally LOVE Vino. He's just a terrifyingly interesting character. I love what a normal guy he is, despite being a monster when he get's on a train. He's a sociopath, and yet when Chane is involved, he becomes so human, you can't help but root for him

  • @Fizzybubblespop

I find the english dub to be more fitting than the Japanese dub for this anime too!!

  • and if she wants to kill me, then she must not love me!!! *gasp* I AM SHOCKED!! :O but no she must love me anyway...lol

  • and if she wants to kill me, then she must not love me!!! *gasp* I AM SHOCKED!! :O lol

  • Comment removed

  • He is actually a good character. He just punished murderers. :)

  • should it worry me that vino's entire speech made perfect sense to me

  • It is so weird watching a guy who was tearing peoples faces off not to long ago talking about how much he loves Chane.

  • Even when I first saw this one, why did Vino's eyes turn from red to yellow like that? Maybe an animation error?

  • Even when I first saw this one, why did Vino's eyes turn from red to yellow like that? Maybe a animation error?

  • @finstrike7 Yeah, so seems to be the case, there's no reason for his eyes to change color and it's only for a brief moment....

  • @Fernyxferny True. But yeah, wonderful show still.

  • If you watch no other dub, watch this one. It's fucking SET in America. The dub is also really well-done, and if you don't think so, it's probably because you don't like ANY dubs, in which case we have nothing to talk about.

  • This is the one time in history that the english is much better than the original.

  • Those noodles that Claire is eating look delicious.

  • I like Japanese dub, but with English dub, you can hear the accents real well (or a weird tone of voice or whatever you call 'em). When I heard the other characters in Japanese after watching the show in English, I couldn't hear much from Japanese. They all sounded normally Japanese; no accents. Well, that's just me, since I can only understand English. I like the voices to stay similar from any language, like Jacuzzi's voice in both dubs sounds close to each other.

  • WHAT. How could you not love the English dub? I mean, they are in New York, you guys. I'm fine with the Japanese because the voice actors never fail to be believable and really into it, but I think the English dub was done excellently in the case of this anime.

  • Nah, I definitely prefer the Japanese. Particularly, Ladd, whose English voice actor just doesn't capture the crazy childish attitude his Japanese VA does. Also the somewhat forced Brookyln accents are a bit grating...

  • sorry is it just me or do you fanspaz whenever someone blushes in this anime?

    DUNNO ITS CUTE THO.

  • How? Sometimes it's more interesting to watch it in Japanese, shows the real face movements to the words and the expressions can be understood properly.

  • If you're watching in Japanese, you're doing it wrong. Sorry.

  • @elric6 Ahem, but im watching it in japanese because there's no dub for my language.....

  • @AkumaNoRobin You seem to understand English well enough to me. I mean, you could pick out a comment to respond to, click the reply button. Then give a response written with only three mistakes in it.

  • @elric6 but I can understand english writed, not speaked,I cant understand the english accent :C

  • @elric6 Sounds like a demotivational poster idea. ;D

  • @elric6 If you are to retarted to read substitles, you're doing it wrong, and I aint sorry.

  • @MrReggar No, it's not that I have to read subtitles. If there is an obviously superior version out there, it would be "retarded" to watch deprave myself of the better version. I'll be a happy camper when weeaboo's get their heads on straight and realize the Japanese dub isn't the best thing out there.

Also, you're supposed to use "too" instead of "to" to show emphasis. And if you're going to use "ain't", the least you could do would be to add an apostrophe.

  • @elric6 I agree to an extent, I believe Baccano, Cromartie, Cowboy Bebop, and Death Note all have better English dubs than Japanese. However the Baccano sub is quite good as well.

  • @gooooooople Take it from a native speaker, the Japanese dub isn't anything to write home about.

  • @elric6 One of the few animes where the DUB is b etter.

  • @elric6 you must be trolling.

  • @Pilmouze Nope.

  • @elric6 not at all. if your ears prefer it, it's fine. mine can't stand dubs. sorry.

  • @elric6 look, nothing against the dub, its great, but did u even watched it in japanese?

  • @HoukouAoi123

I, for one, did. And I must say the english dub was FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! AH~ those accents~! Yeah, I'm starting to lean more and more towards english dubs.....

  • @elric6 Why ? I watched it with subtitles and it was awesome... Is the dub better ?

  • @Shalymar75 Yes, it's better. Much better in my opinion. Like there is literally no reason for anyone to want to watch the Japanese version over the dub unless they are full on weaboo.

  • @elric6 You jerk, keep it to yourself.

  • @elric6 Couldn't have said it better myself. The dub is so much better.

  • @elric6 Couldn't have said it better myself. The dub is so much better.

  • @elric6 ??? that's the most incorrect thing I've ever heard

  • @elric6 it was originally japanese, it's not a fail.... but I did feel like "wait they're in america speaking Japanese? XD" so yeah :I

  • it's amazing how both of them are able to eat after all the things they saw on the train o_O

  • lol @ people watching this in Japanese

  • @SoapMacTavishh

lol @ the naruto fanboys who watch anime in english

  • Comment removed

  • This scene in particular is amazingly held natural in the dub as it felt realistic, IMO, to the clear acting here in the Japanese version. "This girl is even less normal than you are Rachel, if you can fathom that."

  • LOL "it's not u, so u dun need to worry"

  • i think this scene is mor fun after spending the whole rest of the series with the ridiculouse insane vino

  • I had sort of started to like Vino against my will before this scene, and then I saw this scene and it's like all the bits where he turned people into splatters never happened. It's weird how someone so monstrously scary can also be so freaking adorable.

  • it's in scenes like this that you can't help but notice how adorable Claire can really be <3

  • The Torture Technician aka Vino blushing like a goddamn school girl over the Cute Mute is just XD 0_o Wierd juxtapose... One day grating people's faces like cheese whilst covered in blood, (with batshit fucking insane grin) and the next: eating pasta and wondering how to woo a girl he met on top of a moving train....

  • ...I wish I was Chane D:

  • @156Mewsic I FEEL FOR YOU!!! I WISH I WERE CHANE TOO. :'(

  • RAY-CHELL!

  • He just makes you want to smack him and squeal like a fangirl at the same time!!! EEEEEEEE! He's such as psycho, but he's sooooo cute too!

  • really he's just ranting to himself but since we all love.......Claire.

for some reason I can't just get over that girly name, but I still love him cuz he's awesome(and a psycho serial killer)

  • Okay guys you need to level with me ... was I the only one supremely disappointed with the ending?

  • CLAAAAAAAIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE!!!!!! >^w^<

  • as much as i love chane/claire. why is rachel/claire so cute? just from this one scene FFFFF ; ; <3

  • Claire?

  • Ahhhh Vino....That romantic soul...xD Who would though that after massacre he did on the Flying Pussyfoot <3 Gotta love that guy~

  • he talks alot XD

  • which episode is this?

  • He reminds me of Masaomi Kida from Durarara!!

  • @100animer OMG NO!! Vino and Kida are way different!!

  • Wait, wait, wait--this isn't the best scene in Baccano!. D:

  • I love this anime because it did such a perfect job of making me completely scared of/horrified by Claire and making me think he's friendly and cute at the same time. I have such a confused emotional reaction to his scenes and I think that makes his character more real, because people in real life aren't simple.

  • Does anyone else agree that his expression at 2:20 is the cutest thing ever?

  • ANYONE ELSE NOTICE HIS EYES!!!! Like near the end his eyes change color. When i saw this episode i was like "woah!" *rubs eyes* "did i see that right" I had to rewind the episode over nd over to confirm it

  • @IktoruaAkura013 oh you mean first its brown, then it kinda turns a yellowish gold color? XD

  • OH CLAIRE...

  • I Agree!! Best scene in Baccano!! :D

  • id hate to say it

but the only good dub anime out there is Baccano

  • @dudex33 Cowboy Bebop?

  • @dudex33

death note did a really good job too... but I agree... the dub on this one is perfect!

  • @dudex33 How many English dubs have you listened to? You apparently at least missed out on Cowboy Bebop, which I think may be one of the most agreed upon best English dubs in existence. Some others favorites of mine: Fruits Basket (despite the grammatical error-filled script), Fullmetal Alchemist, Big Windup!, and His and Her Circumstances. I'm not saying any of them are necessarily better than the Japanese language tracks, but Baccano is NOT the only good dub out there.

  • Vino is SEXY!! But i like him BETTER when he's killing everyone. <3

  • i think that the red haired guy is the same voice as gokudera from reborn o.O

  • @meis08

    No..Actually it's Ichigo's voice from Bleach...

  • hes so hot! :D why would chane not want to marry him??? lol

  • I hope that when I watch the anime It will be more interesting... cuz if thats the best scene idk about this anime >.<

  • @TeddyBearSai trust me its good i wasnt sure about it either but once you meet isaac and miria it gets better

  • MY NAMES RACHEL I FEEL SOO AWESOME! lol

  • Oh Claire, where would we be without you?

  • Personally, I'm not a huge fan of this scene. I prefer Claire in the original 13 episodes because of the way he is portrayed as being almost inhuman. Also, the animation doesn't seem to be as high in quality during this sequence, which bums me out.

  • Claire and Chane are my OTP

  • this anime is funny-have mafia-romantic-mysterius-exellent plot-and have all you think an anime could have

  • what genre is this anime? is this anime about fights?

  • @francisosorio243 not only fights. Mystery, romance (sort of), comedy (Isaa and Miria are hilarious) and fantasy (A cure-all elixir). All of this is compiled into a very complex story centering around quite a few people. each storyline is seperate yet is interwoven with te others in some fashion.

  • @SageofTalos alryt tnx btw...

  • @francisosorio243 not only fights. Mystery, romance (sort of), comedy (Isaa and Miria are hilarious) and fantasy (A cure-all elixir). All of this is compiled into a very complex story centering around quite a few people but there are three diffeent storie told at once. each storyline is seperate yet is interwoven with te others in some fashion.

  • Yes, it's hilarious to watch a psychopath play the part of the helpless romantic, but I personally prefer the scenes of, I don't know, Claire ripping people apart with traintracks, that kind of thing.

  • this isn't the best baccano scene ever! where are Isaac and Miria?!

  • Rachel-kun is so hot

  • Why is THIS the best scene In Baccano? I mean I don't hate the scene or anything. Im just curious

  • @ggxxslash wen u watch the whole anime u wud understand.

the seen is quite ironic. its still a very good anime u shud chek it out.

  • @MrArchie1234567

I did watch the whole anime... -_-'

  • Is it just me, or is the English version way better? I love the italian american accents!

  • @hiblinist916 Can you tell me where you watched the english dub because I wanted to watch it but I could only find the Japanese, which was still pretty damn cool.

  • @ItachiUchiha444 Well, the first two episodes are posted in english on here. The rest I believe you can find all of them on Funimation's website.

  • @ItachiUchiha444 But for real I watched them all on the dvd my friend loaned me. She bought the complete series at Best Buy I think.

  • @hiblinist916

I agree, strongly. Too bad the dub clips aren't on youtube.

  • @hiblinist916 I agree, I love Vino-san much better in the english. XD

  • @hiblinist916 Yes the eng dub is way better.

  • @hiblinist916 your retarded. Also didn't know that Voice Actor that does Ichigo can actually act. I gave him 10/10 for Vino!

  • @hiblinist916 I don't know why people thumb up your comment... -__-;; Don't compare Japanese version with the English version, please...

  • @Evellion

    Cant agree anymore

  • @hiblinist916 I 100% agree, it's nothing to do with the Japanese version having bad voice-overs as it definitely doesn't. It's more to do with the fact that the English dub fits SO DAMN WELL with the setting.

  • @hiblinist916

Man the dub SHOULD be the best version, considering that the story takes place in America.

  • @hiblinist916 New York accents you mean...

  • @WarfighterCapable

His comment was correct either way.

    NY knows many imigrated Italians.

We can have a discussion wether we look at the italian americans as new-yorkers or as italian americans.

It was a pointless thing to say either way.

  • @hiblinist916 It's just you. Even with the accents, English actors don't do so well with capturing the eccentric characters.

  • @hiblinist916 you are so right you hear so much more chracter in english verson X3
