The original song is WRITTEN, PRODUCED and PERFORMED by Bolland & Bolland in 1982 on "The Domino Theory" album.
Band was formed in 1971, Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Also Known As The Swingkickers, The Bollands, The Bolland Project.

I heard it with Bolland & Bolland on Danish Radio long before I heard it with Status Quo. It´s much much better with Bolland & Bolland

yes, I first heard this in 1982 by Bolland & Bolland in San Antonio Ibiza. Bought the album and it was very good also. Status Quo's version was much later.
