I try to get songs started in the ground but some people don't want to know. Go on any Chelsea forum and so many people will say how quiet we are at home.
Also I went in the Shed End at Pompey home this year and it was shit - no singing, no standing and I got into a huge arguement with some bloke for trying to get people to stand.
Our home support is full of day trippers and wankers.
Cos i go, week in week out, and i know that it is not shite, and it has improved alot over the last year and a bit. Every home support is not as good as away support every knows that and thats down to the prices and no terraces but to say our support is shite is a load of balls, and it certainly aint worse than the likes of Tottenham, West Ham, Liverpool etc.

As a Chelsea Fan I think you're right. Chelsea away support in the 1970s and 80s was huge; way bigger than Man Utd and Liverpool the two big teams of that time.
I can remember the 79/80 season when we (Chelsea) were already relegated and took about 5,000 to Aston Villa. All true blues, and you're right the average Chelsea fan of today is a glory seeking twat.
That's why now you'll find me at Brentford or AFC Wimbledon when I'm back in 'sarf' London.

Cos i go, week in week out, and i know that it is not shite, and it has improved alot over the last year and a bit. Every home support is not as good as away support every knows that and thats down to the prices and no terraces but to say our support is shite is a load of balls, and it certainly aint worse than the likes of Tottenham, West Ham, Liverpool etc.
