The album is called "The New Scene" At that time in the mid sixties Sarah Vaughan was purely known as a jazz singer, so she did the album to show that she can do new contemporary songs as well. I hope you like her version, she was a fantastic singer & could carry a note for so long.
Perhaps one of the forgotten gems of the 60's. I firstly heard it on the BBC series "The Rock & Roll Years". Does anyone know if the series is on DVD yet?
This is such a great song. I keep looking for this 45 but can't find it at a good price.
