ALL SECRETS OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND WRONG-DOINGS SHOULD BE RELEASED THROUGH FREEDOM OF ACCESS FOR INFORMATIONAL MATERIAL TO THE PUBLIC. SINGAPOREANS HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEMAND WHATSOEVER THAT THEY NEED TO KNOW AS THEY ARE THE TAX-PAYING BOSS OF THE GOVERNMENT. REMEMBER WHO PAYS CLOTHES, FEED & SHELTER THEM. YOU - THE SINGAPOREAN PUBLIC
THIS PROVES WHY SINGAPOREANS HAVE TERMINATED ALL $MILLIONS$ SERVICES OF PAP MEMBERS IN PARLIAMENT BECAUSE OF THEIR LACK OF FORESIGHT, INITIATIVE AND POOR LEADERSHIP VIEWS TO MATTERS THAT REQUIRES THE WELL BEING OF SINGAPOREANS AND OF THE NATION.
how selfish are you singaporeans? u would rather have your comfortable life uninterrupted by picketing and strikes, than see people fight for equality
What else are you looking for? Do you fools realise what a problem it will be if we did not restrict freedom of speech? Especially in a country like SIngapore. Can you think before slamming the government please. They are working hard and are one of the cleanest in the world not like some other shitty county
People stop hating on Singapore. It's smaller than New York city for gosh sakes. If they want to fuck around let them it don't affect you if you don't live there.
Racial Harmony doesn't exist in singapore, what a joke, I got laid off my first job because I don't speak mandarin, please chink, don't blow singapore's horn.
Just look at him: with one hand signing death sentences and with the other stealing to get even richer. The US got it wrong: they shouldn't have invaded Iraq, they should've gone for Singapore and rid the world of all these dumb fucks.
Hi xGlennNgx, thanks for your reply to my comment. Which law are you referring to that PM has to uphold? Isn't freedom of speech part of the Singapore Constitution? I remember attending primary and secondary school in Singapore and never was I taught about our constitution. I find this really odd and always questioned the true wisdom of this course. I would never support any violent civil discourse or disobedience but for a society to mature its citizens must be guaranteed free speech.
Speakers' Corner or is it Speakers Cornered? Great idea to assemble dissenters in a specific space for easier monitoring. Thank you very much for sparing your crumbs of freedom.
In a civilized society, whether or not a person is legally free to take a particular action depends on whether he has a right to take the action. If the action will violate the rights of others, then he does not have a right to take it; if the action will not violate the rights of others, then he does have a right to take it. There is no middle ground here: Either a person has a right to take a given action, or he does not. And if he does, he morally must be left free to do so.

@rebellya Really? And you think US is any better? Invading countries? really? that would be killing even more people than Singapore's death sentences
