  • He's great with his jokes.

  • a load of baloney from an Extreme Low Life Asshole.

  • how selfish are you singaporeans? u would rather have your comfortable life uninterrupted by picketing and strikes, than see people fight for equality

  • @TacticalOrgasm Singapore is equality at it's best

  • What else are you looking for? Do you fools realise what a problem it will be if we did not restrict freedom of speech? Especially in a country like SIngapore. Can you think before slamming the government please. They are working hard and are one of the cleanest in the world not like some other shitty county

  • People stop hating on Singapore. It's smaller than New York city for gosh sakes. If they want to fuck around let them it don't affect you if you don't live there.

  • LOL... he talks about freedom of speech...

  • Just look at him: with one hand signing death sentences and with the other stealing to get even richer. The US got it wrong: they shouldn't have invaded Iraq, they should've gone for Singapore and rid the world of all these dumb fucks.

  • @rebellya Really? And you think US is any better? Invading countries? really? that would be killing even more people than Singapore's death sentences

  • Hi xGlennNgx, thanks for your reply to my comment. Which law are you referring to that PM has to uphold? Isn't freedom of speech part of the Singapore Constitution? I remember attending primary and secondary school in Singapore and never was I taught about our constitution. I find this really odd and always questioned the true wisdom of this course. I would never support any violent civil discourse or disobedience but for a society to mature its citizens must be guaranteed free speech.

  • Speakers' Corner or is it Speakers Cornered? Great idea to assemble dissenters in a specific space for easier monitoring. Thank you very much for sparing your crumbs of freedom.

  • i agree with you. but this is a good way to uphold law and order while still giving us some freedom

  • This is tyranny.

In a civilized society, whether or not a person is legally free to take a particular action depends on whether he has a right to take the action. If the action will violate the rights of others, then he does not have a right to take it; if the action will not violate the rights of others, then he does have a right to take it. There is no middle ground here: Either a person has a right to take a given action, or he does not. And if he does, he morally must be left free to do so.

  • funny

  • what he say makes perfect sense.

    I fully agree.

  • lol, Singapore is a dictatorship.

  • and with this system, we have very stable and secured society. democracy is the worst form of government
