Oh yeah, and shroud has got to come off too, makes things alot easier, the hoses shouldnt be a problem to remove and placed back on..be sure not to over torque the two bottom bolts for they are easy to strip, found that out the hard way haha..use silicon to stick the gasket on the pump, then apply some to the gasket upon placing it on..try to remember where stud's went and where the bolts went, take a pic if you have to,makes things easier putting it back together...feel free to ask more ques.
hey there, bearings are shot on this pump man..i just replaced mine on my 71 cutlass sx,its a really easy job, take the pump off, take it to autozone to get a core charge,it should cost about 25 bucks for a refurbished one..loosen the belts, take off the fan, there are about 4 bolts on the top side, and about 3 on the bottom..be sure to use silicon on the new gasket and clean off the old gasket or you'll get a leak!!..haha anymore questions, feel free to ask me man..
