  • why would someone do all that to refill just buy a new one

  • @mandoakafable Because it's much cheaper.

  • aw.. my hand.. messy.. x((

  • YES! now where can i buy ink?

  • I buy ink from ebay

  • very helpful.thx

  • قديم عندنا في السعودية من 12 سنه هالطريقه

  • this guy is high on crack. not pluging the holes will cause leaking recking your printer

  • Hi! I wonder if it is possible to refill the HP 367 ink cartridge?

  • product: inkist,, automatic refill is good.

    visit inkist dot com

no niddle, no power, no syringe,

    even kid can refill

  • Refills are the quickest way to screw up your printer.

  • @Drbudweiser why???

  • @len59356 The ink formula is different, manufacturer ink is a highly engineered liquid. It also voids any warrenty on the hardware for that reason. Maybe if you have a cheap printer it is worth it but on expensive ones why bother? Also the colour reproduction of 3rd party inks if poor, again with a cheap printer used for printing net pages or documents maybe its acceptable but not if you ever print a photo. Not to mention the 3rd party inks are less durable with UV and gas.

  • @Drbudweiser you are totally wrong

  • @TheChickenrun3 I can understand why you might think that and if you continue to think that it is cool but I do work in the printing hardware industry, we do run tests on machines and they really do show up as issues.

  • @Drbudweiser some printers have problems with refilling while others don't all depends on the cartridge

  • @TheChickenrun3 From our tests of all of the big 4 manufacturers I have to respectfully disagree :) But you pays your money...

  • @Drbudweiser You are basing your opinion on a few ink manufactures who sold you crappy "universal" ink. I have had some bad experiences too but the inks I get now are a 100% match to the Epson OEM inks. I have compared pictures and there is no visible difference and the inks seem to be waterproof just like the original. Also, I pay $35 for a bulk of 600ml ink compared to paying $20 per cartridge which will sum up to $800. That's a savings of $765. And I don't sell ink so my opinion is unbiased.

  • @from212 We have never tested 3rd party inks that can match OEM quality yet, but if you are happy with the results that you can achieve then great.

  • @from212 Can you give me the names of any printers that have easy to refill cartraiges. I don't want to spend $800 on ink . Thanks

  • @mollymu1 Epson workforce 6xx, artisan 50, or the R280 are all good Epson printers that use the t127 cartridges which are easy to refill and hold 2-3 times more ink than an HP cartridge. The main advantage you will have with the Epson printer is that the print heads usually lasts the life of the printer as opposed to HP's cartridges which include a disposable print head with each cartridge, not a good thing if you are planing on refilling the same cartridge over and over..

  • @from212 Thanks . Had overlooked Epson so will look at them now .

  • @from212 Thanks for the replay . Good to know . I looked at these and they are all like $160 . Are there any like the 350xxx that also have the easy to refill cart and printer head is in the printer . Thanks

  • @Drbudweiser what "big 4" are you talking about? HP, Cannon, Kodak, and Epson? what about brother? they, as i have read, are the best to refill as they have no chip that detects ink levels and stops printing it is all from an on-board sensor that looks into a window in the cartridge

  • @TheChickenrun3 Brother have a very small market share and are not really taken seriously by any manufacturer as competition as such. But the point I was making was regarding ink quality made by 3rd parties which is inferior and produced inferior results. If you have a cheap printer that uses the print head in cartridge then you negate the damage problem but not the loss of quality which is apparent when printing photographs.

  • @Drbudweiser Only if you don't know what you're doing. And besides almost all HP printers have disposable print head attached to the cartridge so in a worse case scenario you would ruin an ink cartridge. Most damage from refilling occurs because the cartridge was not primed or was used empty which makes the nozzles on the print-heads overheat since there is no fluid running. Another common mistake is completely sealing the fill holes which creates a vacuum inside and stops the ink from flowing.

  • @from212 With cartridges with combined print head I agree that it damage is trivial as you can easily buy a new one.

  • @from212 So almost any Hp would do ? I like the HP I have now but want to go wireless. Thanks again .

  • what's with the non-printer related posts¿

  • In light of the world's hunger, war, disease and crime, it's not ok anymore

to produce anything less than will last forever if we have the technology.

Think of it for I minute...if something wears out, that means it is useless

and worthless. If we are to put a number on our financial worth as

American producers we must add up the value of what we have

produced and how many hours it took to create. The gloom

that we experience financially is clearly related to a lack

    of designed value.

  • Refill kits are hit and miss. The problem is you aren't refilling under a vacuum so the foam inside doesn't properly absorb and suspend the ink. Also, if it's run empty it won't prime and won't work. I just buy remanufactured ink and toner at the refillmyink website because it's cheap and 100% guaranteed. Then I donate the empty to my kid's school. Schools and churches do fund raisers by collecting them.

  • question! What do you do with the with needles after your done? do you clean them and if so with what?

  • hey how to put a toner in a printer help me

  • I think you are truly smart thinking of this. Do you know how to refill the new Cricut Imagine cartridges? It's an HP ink cart made specifically for the Cricut Imagine.

  • My cartridges weigh about a pound and print blue, light blue, it only works twice or so.

  • I'm sure that it's convenient and cheap to refill hp cartridges for your printer, but (being devil's advocate here) HP says explicitly do not attempt to or refill any hp ink cartridge. They're designed to be used once then recycled.

  • @clemsontigers18993 My personal opinion is, if those creating this system which

demands a (conservative) $10 investment every month from however many millions

of units that are out there, would rather create more business by devaluing the cartridge

(a cartridge with 100x the capacity could be produced more cheaply than this one and

allow refillability), then I shall become a more responsible co-designer and refill them.

Our economy has bottomed out for just such devaluing sales decisions.

  • HOW RESET HP CARTRIDGES ???

  • What sort of adverse effects, If any would this have on one who were to inject themselves with ink ?

  • @BlaccBoii An increase in IQ to 80.

  • what a moron, leaving those holes open will make it evaporate FAST, especially if you live in a dry area.

  • @redenglishcross

I believe you are the moronic one here - there aren't any open holes you fool, he plugged it with a bb. and the other "holes" you might be referring to, is there the ink comes out. Next time, think before you start typing...

  • @hopkinsj1 Ink come out of holes, huh? WTF do you think your talkin about?! I've refilled dozens of these things, and "BBs" are 6mm in diametre, they don't fit the fill port. It seems like you don't have an *inkling* of this procedure - you just want to sound like a smartass on the internet.

  • @redenglishcross

No, I think the ink makes it way to the paper through divine intervention...

How about next time you call someone a moron, you add something constructive to the dialogue? But wait, hold on, that's probably not possible...since we're dealing with an ignorant Englishman...adding "insight" to an American product....

  • why the ink level ver go's up?

  • ehmm what is BB?

  • @zblempt those little balls froma play gun

  • HP Support sucks. I have all the latest drivers and it still only works about 50%

Of the time. There tech support sucks big time. I will never buy another of there printers again.

In fact, I will never buy any of there products again Unless im willing to spend a whole day trying to get help from there support

  • Great instructional video! I tried this. Worked great with the HP 98 Black cartridge. However, the colors were not accurate with the HP 95. must have used low quality ink---Jet Tex ---I think that is what it was. Or else I did something wrong. The colors were dull.
