First of all, morality has to do with UNDERSTANDING the difference between right and wrong (not good and evil) It is, according to its definition, PROBABLE but not yet proven objectively. That means no one can put a finger on what the "moral code" really is. If 7 out of 10 people say something is "probable", then YOU says it is moral. Hence, the WE of which you speak. But, here is my question to YOU. What are YOU DOING about YOUR CODE? What do you KNOW other than insults?

From Exodus to Malachi encompasses the old testament (old covenant) with Israel. To go back and look to it for guidance other than seeing how it foreshadows the new testament (covenant) in Christ is grossly misleading. If you seriously believed this to be in effect today, you would keep and preach ALL of the Law and not just what you THINK contradict Christianity. I could take the Constitution and read it out of context. If I could get everyone to believe my misquote, I could change America.

The words say thou shall not kill. It means "Thou shall not kill" It states it very clearly, in black and white, unchanged for thousand of years. Yes, if you eat a cow, you are a murderer. You should only kill as a last resort for survival, and then beg for forgiveness.

In my religion, Santa Clause, it states in the holy book , The Night Before Christmas, it states that only one must be nice in order to receive presents. But in the Christian religion there is really no reason to be nice. At least in my religion you get presents for being nice.

Yes God created life and he has the right to take it under his law as he chooses, you may or may not like it God is just. He judged the entire world long before Deuteronomy and killed all living except Noah. Jesus Christ came to fulfill not do away with the Law. Logically if you transgress an eternal infinite Being your punishment would be eternal and infinite. You are judging God and therefor proving his right to judge you. I want mercy not justice for I am guilty on many accounts.

A being cannot be merciful and just at the same time, to be just is to have no mercy, and to be merciful is to put aside any justice that was due, no matter the subtleties of the transgression. Noah's Ark is impossible to have occurred, by the way. But that is a whole other story.

You are very correct, justice and mercy are completely different. That is the entire idea behind sacrafice, That is why under the law perfect justice was put upon a sacrafice with out blemmish. To satisfy a holy perfect justice it must be put on a holy and just being other wise the justice is never satasfied. That is why Jesus Christ had to come for that exact purpose to satisfy the justice, and hence we can then have mercy as the debt had to be paid. The Ark is another subject.

So the point is this someone who did not owe a debt but had the resources had to pay them, those who refuse to accept the free gift will get justice. Most people think they are basically better than the next guy but God says our righteousness is as filthy rags. Jesus made it clear that we are guilty even of our thoughts for we have commited the crime in our mind at it condems us. I know I want mercy not justice because I am guilty on many accounts.

Moses to Kill his brothers, friends, and neighbors= Exodus 32:27-28

Moses to murder women & takes virgin slaves= Numbers 31:15-41

Moses to murder Women & children= Deuteronomy 2:33-35 & 3:2-7

Saul to murder women, children, and infants= 1 Samuel 15:2-3

Jephthah to sacrifice his own daughter= Judges 11:30-39

Even Jesus demanded murder= Luke 19:27

If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. , kill every man in the town.

The correct definition of murder is to "kill unjustly". As was said in the comments, just killing can be accidental, self-defense, defense of others, war, the death penalty, etc. As for saying that the murder in the Bible was not caused by God, but by man, I don't know of anybody who uses that argument. There are many cases where that is true, but it's not all the time. So really, it's irrelevant.

The other exception that you missed was war. You don't think that American servicemen who bombed Berlin or Tokyo during World War II were murderers, do you? It clearly wasn't self-defense, it was an attacking move. It was war. Much of what you see in the Old testament is war between the nation of Israel and other nations like Canaan, the Hittites, the Philistines, Eygpt, etc.

God condemned the people of Belial, as is his right as the sovereign, and their death was his punishment on them. That isn't murder just like the hangman or other executioner carrying out a sentence isn't murder.

You missed a few items in your description of murder. You don't think the guy who throws the switch on the electric chair is a murderer, do you? It is a punishment by the sovereign (state or God) for a convicted criminal. The only two exceptions you gave were accident and self-defense. Execution of the death penalty of a convicted criminal by an officer of the law isn't a murderer.

I am not saying that I agree or disagree with the video as I have not listened to the video. But,I do count the roman soldiers and the pharisees as murderers for they spilled innocent blood in Christ. Now, for the state to be called a sovereign state of God, would not the state have to prove guilt without any doubt? Afterall, reasonable doubt leaves room for error. The issue does not lie in the individual being employed and authorized by the state but, in the actual TRUTH. God alone knows.

God knows everything that has ever happened, so proof of anything you want is pretty easy for him. I am not sure the rest of your point, are you saying if the state government (like the US or one of its states) tries someone fairly, with due process, but still makes a mistake about guilt, that transforms it to murder?
