It is illegal to possess or sell bath salts that contain any of the following ingredients... mephedrone, methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV) and methylone. Those are the salts that are used as the drug! Seriously people.....how can you justify commenting on here that these salts can be illegal when they are only epsom salt, baking soda, food coloring and scent? Do your research!

I love the eucalyptus, chamomiel, rosemary green bath salts "for aches and pains" at Walmart, and want to try making them myself to save money. I love the really strong fragrance and the icy tingle, but I use a lot more than what it recommends in my bath. It calls for 1/3 cup and I use 1/3 of the jar. Feels amazing.

I wouldn't use the colorings, I want to color them natural, I know you can use beet powder or Red Earth powder- but can I use spirulina???

she just said you can't go wrong because if the salt turns too dark then you can add more salt but if it's too light, you can add more coloring
