When we got to around 5mins in, it suddenly had all these brilliant shades of anger and jealousy and passion, which was awesome, just took a while to get there for me. @Cuirras I'm sure he didn't produce this just over night. This takes time and effort. It's not the people who listen to music that makes it overrated its the radio stations that make it overrated by pleasing the requested made by people. Adele's album came out in Febuary 2011. The radio just makes songs feel overrated by overplaying a certain song for a period of time. Music is never overrated. :)

@Cuirras I'm sure he didn't produce this just over night. This takes time and effort. It's not the people who listen to music that makes it overrated its the radio stations that make it overrated by pleasing the requested made by people. Adele's album came out in Febuary 2011. The radio just makes songs feel overrated by overplaying a certain song for a period of time. Music is never overrated. :)

@zaklightning14 if you have watched her preform it live @ the awards show, or even the video of her in her home. Adele def puts feeling and soul into this song. I love Gavin, and his music has really touched my life. He does bring the music to life. I have to disagree about the part where you say its much more heartfelt than her version tho. She wrote this song; and it was created from a deep pain in her soul. - Ivy

I agree, musiclover. :) Seriously, to each his own, but I tend to think the most honest delivery is one that matches the lyrics. If you're really sinking yourself into a song, smiling when you're singing something as heart-wrenching as this just seems a bit... I dunno... strange to me. But, honestly, to each his own. Music is nothing if not an individual thing. :)

@gavinmikhail Big fan Gavin. Always love your covers. :) Particularly this one as I'm going through a breakup right now. But I was wondering, in lieu of what you said about smiling and covering songs, how about in the next cover you do an upbeat pop song (for example) with a smile? I know those of us who have watched many of your videos would love the turnaround - kinda like a good laugh after a good cry :) Just a suggestion anyway. Looking forward to the next cover / original either way :)

Yeah i mean i think it's ok if you smile because its a happy song but on sad songs when they just stand there like statues smiling and singing - that annoys me.
