  • @tarryarah If you say that to people then you are also going to hell if there is one

  • @pochopaz7381 The point is, there is no hell. People have imagined it, just like they have imagined god, somebody who rules over everybody; then priests and theologians say to people it is real, because they can have influence and control over people in this way. Don't forget, they make their living in this way. They have a vested interest that you should believe in what they say.

  • actually science does not claim it knows a lot about afterlife, but it is open to studying about it. there is this thing we call "unobersavable universe"

  • It takes more Faith not to Believe.... with so many near death or life after death testimonials. Even children have had these near death experiences... so who's to say if they are all lying or telling the truth. Faith in a creator God is by choice ... regardless of how one chooses the proof or truth will come when we leave this earth.

  • @amazinglyeva "It takes more Faith not to Believe..." No, it doesn't! Just look around you and live in the world. Ideas of 'another world' are born in the human brain, which has evolved to be incredibly complex, it has a billion neurons, every neuron makes 1000 connections with other neurons, so there are trillions of connections, that's how our thinking, memory and feeling happen. We make representations of the world in our brain, we can make up different scenarios - religion and god appeared.

  • @amazinglyeva As to 'near death experiences', I was just reading in 'Scientific American' that the 'brain surges with activity just before death. Living nerve cells are electrically charged, as blood flow slows and oxygen runs out, the cells can no longer maintain polarity and they fire, causing a cascade of activity that ripples through the brain'.

  • @dewinthemorning

care about crediting science pointing out matters of life after death?

  • @libetta Point me towards sources that credit 'science pointing matters of life after death'.

  • @dewinthemorning

what do you think of PARANORMAL ACTIVITIES?

  • @libetta Ok, give me creditable sources that 'credit science pointing out matters of life after death' using proven paranormal activities. You understand, not just word of mouth.

  • @dewinthemorning

woman, paranormal activities DO happen. what makes you think NOT?

  • @libetta Man (or woman), I don't know of any. Why should I take your word for it? Prove them to me. Give me evidence for paranormal activities.

  • @dewinthemorning

man. you're such a heathen. search for articles about Ozone Disco and Manila Film Center

  • @libetta You are right, I am not religious. YOU must send me scientific articles proving paranormal activities if you want me to 'credit science pointing out matters of life after death'. I am not going to do your work. YOU assert that there are paranormal activities, you must give me evidence for them.

  • @libetta paranormal activities?? lmao, what are you 9?

  • @MultigrainPie

you too, search Ozone Disco and Manila Film Center

  • The greatest compliment I could ever give to anyone: your video inspired me to write about my father's NDE. Unfortunately for the Christians, it doens't fit into the neat little stories they like to tell. 5 stars for you!

  • @carlcartman

Do you mean to say that thare are NDEs, that are not pleasant, light at the end of a tunnel and so on? I've only heard of this type of NDE.

  • My dad's NDE was fairly basic-- and a lot more believable that all of the "heading toward the light" stories.

When you're alive you make a lot of noise: blood flowing, heart pumping, lungs breathing and so on. You don't notice it because it goes on all the time. The first thing my dad noticed was the silence. And then the thought: "Oh my god, I'm dead." He was revived, and lived another 50 years after that.

No light, no dead relatives, no Jesus.

  • @carlcartman :: It is estimated that only about 18% of people that have a near-death episode have the experience to go with it.

  • @carlcartman Only 18% of 'near-deathers' have any experiences they can remember.

  • @dewinthemorning There are hell NDEs or CDEs (Clinical Death Experiences, which involve the person clinically dying for a certain time, not just getting close to dying as in an NDE). Watch the To Hell and Back, and Ian McCormack videos for several examples of atheists experiencing Hell CDEs. All of those atheists saw things they did not believe in, did not want to see and did not expect to see, and their lives were changed. Their second chances, due to modern medical technology, are rare.

  • @justin10292000 Rumours, or stories, result of unbridled imagination, and one more possibility - memories of stories about hell (with no foundation in fact), told by Christians. I don't hear such stories, in case of CDE or NDE I'll have a completely different 'experience'.

  • @dewinthemorning Those atheists felt and believed as you do. They do not now. Mere hallucinations, rumors, imaginings: these are not what those atheists experienced. And all of their lives were changed, permanently. Mere hallucinations or wild flights of fancy do not fundamentally change lives. And they are just the tip of the iceberg. According to Dr. Maurice Rawlings, most Hell NDEs/CDEs are quickly suppressed amnesia-like and are irretrievable after a very short window of time.

  • @justin10292000 'Mere hallucinations, rumours, imaginings: these are not what those atheists experienced.' How do you know?

'Mere hallucinations or wild flights of fancy do not fundamentally change lives.' Of course they do, if you convince yourself that they were true. But it's again your doing, no supernatural force there.

Are you trying to convince me, that, even if I don't remember, I have experienced hell visions? The cheek of it! Why not fleeting sexual pleasure visions? The moaning?

  • @dewinthemorning Watch the videos and hear/see the accounts themselves from the former atheists who experienced them. How do YOU know they were NOT real? When did I ever say that YOU had experienced hell visions and do not remember? I am referring to a general phenomena and never mentioned you specifically. Even A.J. Ayers, who succeeded Bertrand Russell as the no. 1 atheist in England, had a CDE. What if YOU are wrong about there being NO God, Heaven, Hell or soul?

  • @justin10292000 "How do YOU know they are NOT real?' Define real.

To the extend that they are a result of neurons firing in the brain, they are real, that's what the person 'experiences'. What do you mean by 'real'?

  • @dewinthemorning REAL as in they actually happened, objectively, as an experience outside of one's self, as something experienced that was not expected or desired. There are cases of people blind since birth experiencing NDEs/CDEs during which they can see everything, and then are blind again once their soul is back in their body. These experiences are objectively real, not subjective or introspective, or merely physiological. Again I ask: how do YOU know what they experienced was NOT real?

  • @justin10292000 'REAL as in they actually happened'

What do you mean by 'they'? Experiences that a person experiences? Let's describe such an 'experience' - this person we are talking about, lets call him an atheist, is standing at the edge of an abyss, at the bottom of which something is burning (wood?), so until this something burns out, there will be flames to be seen. But the atheist isn't there (where?), he in his hospital bed. Neurologists have an explanation for what he feels. (cont.)

  • @justin10292000 Neurologists, specialists, can sort of 'peer' in the brain of patients by new technology, like imaging brain scanners, they see which regions of the brain light up (there is neural activity there), the neurons and neuron connections there get ecxited, and produce this 'experience' that the patient remembers later.

What do you mean by 'out of body'?All the things you experience with - the senses, your nervous system, are in your body, without them you can't experience anything.

  • @dewinthemorning *phenomenon. "Atheism: n. the theory or belief that God does not exist" (The Oxford Dictionary). The belief system in which you have placed your faith is just that: a BELIEF, a THEORY. You cannot prove there is no God, Heaven, Hell, or soul. You just have faith in your unprovable presuppositions. Criticizing Christians for their faith when you atheists rely on faith as much as everyone else is hypocritical and disingenuous, at best.

  • @justin10292000 We have absolutely no reason to presuppose that there is any ideal sphere of reality! With evolution the human brain became more and more complex. Did you know there are billions of neurons in the brain, making billions of neuron connections? That's how we think, that's our consciousness. We can imagine any situation in the world. This, of course is a virtual, ideal reality for us, but it's only in our heads. It doesn't exist objectively. BTW, the atheism definition is not exact.

  • @dewinthemorning We have absolutely no reason to presuppose, as atheists do, that there is NOT any ideal (supernatural) sphere of reality! Variation within species (microevolution involving a reduction/maintaining of information) occurs all the time, but MACROevolution, the idea that mere chance can ADD more information and cause species to change into other species, is a fairytale for adults, a mere philosophical construct rooted in atheistic presuppositions. Atheism is a belief, a theory.

  • @justin10292000 Double YAWN... Come on with the Jason stories already.... we love tales of gore & sex.

  • @CecilTheSeaMonster Yawn. I am not the coward who hides behind a cartoon character.

  • @justin10292000

Come on, tell us again about the time you dangled your son off the balcony... Were u imitating your idol, Michael Jackson???? Yawn, you're becoming boring, ..... start with the kiddie stories again. Or tell us about when u took Jason to the liquor store & left him outside on the sidewalk dressed in rags with a sign saying "please donate for my baby food", & a cup for spare change & bills. How much did you make everyday doing that?

  • Comment removed

  • @CecilTheSeaMonster Actually, this posting was quite funny. Thank you for making me smile! :)

  • I'm very sorry about your loss. I know a similar story. You have been given a second chance however. I hope you seek Him. G-d bless you.

  • I am so tired of people telling me that I assert there is no afterlife or god, I don't make such assertions and I doubt most atheists do :|

  • Phantom limbs! Great analogy!

  • Near death experiences have been replicated in experiments.

  • Dr. Michael Persinger has claimed to be able to replicate NDEs through magnetic stimulation of the brain.

  • @jesuslives57 No it didn't. Give an example!
