  • I love this... Oshun is my Orisha!!! she and i have soooo much in common lol.... Its kewl though cuz she and Oya are sisters!!! ;)

  • i like this.

  • Sorry. It is not my connection to Oya and I was thinking narrow-mindedly. I see the beauty in it now that you explain it to me that way. Thanks for opening my eyes.

  • I don't like it...it doesn't represent Oya. Oya deserves more!

  • @cositapreciosa8 it represent Oya to me because it was MY photo shoot and she was the inspiration.

  • @nochokin

I see that ur a child of ogun, im a child of oya and saw your vid that u made on it. im so glad to kno that my religion isnt such a taboo anymore, just wantd to give u ur props. i do have a question though, who s your mother in ocha?

  • @afroloveable well i havent had a divination in a while so i havent found that out yet

  • In learning a little bit about Orisha's, Oya was always my favorite. And YES for Ogun. You show strength in your appearance alone, too. That's very fitting.

  • thank you love

  • most definitely. and you WORKED those photos!

  • what in the world is this?

  • @KiaTheRisingStar ............. read the info box

  • Do you belive in her? as in a religion

  • @KiaTheRisingStar what i believe has nothin to do with my art but if you just askin to know

Yes, the orishas are a mythological sections of God...because i believe in God i think these a great artful way to expression

  • Lurvely. I am Ymoja, though lol.

  • I am a child of Ogun...thanks for the love...i will be recreating all the orishsa....including Yemeja

  • Nochokin: Can you please recommend some books, websites, and other media so I can learn more about African Religions? I am a serious student of African and Caribbean History and culture.

  • send me a message and im share some thing i know...im fairly new so bare with me...lol

  • way to bring out the afro-centric religions!!!! 5stars!!!! i know these as the 7 african powers to which the religion santeria is based on and before ther names were changed to appease the christian society, however they were still, in essense, the same deities. they are the base to many afro-centric religions... i would be highly interested in a research series if you would do one. MUCH LOVE!!

  • oh no....I wouldnt be a good person for that...i fairly new and i like to go at my own pace. I willl focus on my creative side more toward them on Youtube. And this is an entertainment outlet that os to open for that spiritual side of me. One on one that fine. But an disrespect that youtube would bring would piss me off. So ill share my art...but not my research as of yet

  • @ navi2884, I should research the 7 African powers. This video is a really good depiction of an African Goddess. Other's would like to strip African's of their true inheritance and culture. The woman in this video makes facial expressions like the woman I saw in the sky. This video is right on the money!

  • Maferefun Oya!

    Hey girl,

I didn't know you were in the religion. That's awesome!

My head isn't marked yet, but I have received my warriors and elekes.

I suspect that I am a child of Oshun, but I am also very close to Ogun.

Do you mind if I email you about this sometime?

I'd be interested to hear your experiences with being transgendered in Lucumi.

  • Sure illl explain my association when you write me......

  • @nochokin you should explain it in a video because im interested too.... ive strayed away cuz of the politics and shadiness that goes on, but this is where my heart is when it comes to religion! who knows what will happen in the future...

and on that note..... merry christ mas baby lmao!

  • lol Oooo that extra personal and plus in not active. Im lookin for and elay that is accepting of transgender in the Houston area. that is not easy...lol I was lucky in my old city because my Iya knew me from a young age
