I don't get the way that you're fanning them, when i do it like you say, the cards are fanned in the wrong direction and it feels akward to do it from the other direction. I'm getting good fans from the top of the deck, but they face so that the corner without the pips is showing on all of them. any help?

My cards are kinda old now but even when new they didn't fan well. I have Bicycle Guardians, air cushion finish.

I find when I try to fan ANY deck the cards just clump. I get about half the cards at the top together in a pile and the rest clump in piles of 10[ish]. I try different grips I try holding hard at bottom and pushing down hard with my fanning finger. I try fanning with finger and thumb. I never get a clean fan.

@lampshade12744 Shadow Masters, hands down. The Ghosts look and feel great but the Shadow Masters are best for handling. And they look beast-mode. :D

They work well for both flourishes and tricks.

your fan sucks asshole. my grandma can do a better fan, and i dont even know my grandma. if you pulled out a weak fan flourish like that during a backroom card game, you most likely would be beat, robbed, and thrown out. if that does happen just be thankful they didnt kill you. so if i was you i would keep practicing the trick in my little room with the door closed until you mastered the trick or at least got decent at it. stay careful my friend...

you do NOT need clean hands to do perfect fans, dont follow this tutorial.

How long does it take to wear out a bicycle deck? I bought red and blue bicycly decks for christmas, and a svenghali deck also. So I've got 3 decks, the svenghali can't fan very well so I only use the blue and red... I've decided to use only the blue for now. How long will it last? How many decks will I need to buy to last a year of fanning almost every day?

it will last about a year before they were out but it realy depends on how often you use them. the svenghali deck is probaly bad because there is no air cushion, check on the side of the box to see if it says 'air-cushion finish' if it doesnt then it means it wont be very slipery.
