take those panels and put them in the basement.first you take a parabolic solar concentrator and put an robotic arm on it to follow the suns path.then make the focal point a mirrored shape cone that will send the light down through mirrored glass tubing straight into a mirrored shape glass box inside the mirrored shape box will be several solar panels that spin to keep them cool the mirrored box must have the mirrors inward to reflect the light sending from the parabolic focal point.ken van horn
We are manufacturers of Dairy equipments. Considering the vast demand of our clients for the renewable energy sources, we have developed some solar parabolic concentrator dish for heating water and steam generation. We are interested in the SUN TRACKING SYSTEM for the same.
We request you to please send your price list, catalog with complete details of your SUN TRACKING SYSTEM as early as possible.
The wattsun solar tracker is on grid tied system. The tracking system runs on 24 volt supply that gets it's power from the grid. I have 2 solar systems both are grid tied. The wattsun has 1320 Watts and produces 2400 KWH a year. The other system has 1920 watts mounted on roof and it produces about 2000 KWH a year. Clearly the panels on the tracker produce significanly more power. The tracking motors only opperate when position adjustment is needed. So motor power consumption is low.
It would also be interesting to see a vid of the WattSun relocating and preparing for the next morning's photons to begin arriving from mother sun.........
cool! but i can't afford a million bucks!

Power consumption on a typical Wattsun Solar Tracker is between 10 and 20 watt-hours per day.

The consumption of energy for the tracking is inferior to the eficiencia increase?
