Also this episode is furthering how I think Rossenbum is my favorite Lex. In the old comics he was a mad scientist, the cartoon show was just a grumpy old man who wants more money, in the comics he is completly insane while talking psuedo philisophical stuff. But this one shows us his pain and has actually good dialouge.

@Geekvolution Another great review Cap. I think Lex wants to be like Clark but he couldn't because in the end he is too selfish, too proud and too power-hungry. In the end, everyone has a choice on who they wish to be and Lex had the chance to choose to be better but he didn't.

I just found out that the creators of Smallville (Alfred Gough and Miles Millar) actually wrote the story for Spider-Man 2.

Personally I would be interested if they do a one shot graphic novel whether it is in continuity or not, about Superman and Lex Luthor, since they definately have a good take on Luthor. What do you think of the idea?

@theboyconnor I think he's part Black Hand, part Anti-Venom (I think this because of Anti-Venom's Jesus complex and the kryptofreak's Grimm reaper complex)

Lionel's sidekick Dominic is played by Sean Connery's son, by the way. And he was in Shang Hai Noon, which was created by Gough and Miller, who were the show runners of Smallville...it all comes back around, it seems.

i love this review series. I continue to rewatch smallville, waiting till each new episode of counting uploads before i watch the next, then waiting for your review, then watching the next smallville.
