  • Saw them at the Cape Cod Coleseum in 1977 then again at this tour...OMG-I love this song- Takes my breath away!! Lots of high school memories.......

  • @Judi1210 Cool, when did they tear that place down anyway? I saw Ozzy with Def Leppard there in the summer of 1981 with the late great Randy Rhoads and thought that was one of the best places to be for a show.

  • The Outlaws takin over Watseka Theatre Watseka Illinois on Friday October 14, 2011

  • ONE OF THE BEST SOUTHERN ROCK SONGS OUT THERE...

  • @daisyfields60

    by far lol

  • There is no Outlaws, in my opinion, since Hughie passed on. These guys, Molly Hatchet, Skynyrd, and Marshall Tucker should all be referred to as "tribute bands" or something. I could respect it more. They sound very good, but I can't see trying to pass as the real Outlaws - they simply are not. Henry Paul bailed on the OUtlaws years ago and it just doesn't work for me, even as good as they sound.

  • @TheHammerheart I don,t agree with you. Hughie joined Skynyrd. Why did he did,nt decide to go on with the Outlaws? I think Henry do a good job and i will always love The Outlaws

  • @babylon333 - It was a more lucrative career move for Hughie to join Skynyrd.

  • @TheHammerheart - Totally agree. I read something that he would start calling the band The Henry Paul Band and keep the set list the same. Wise choice imo. Hughie Thomasson composed the most celebrated Outlaws songs and sang them also adding his trademark guitar sound that these guitarists, although adequate together could never conjure up.

    Reeks tribute band indeed.

  • That is not the OUTLAWS. No way. google The Outlaws Full Circle. Thats the OUTLAWS.

  • @bhouck1000 pretty much the same guys except for Hughie, Henry and Bill Crain.

  • Awesome recording mfphudson! Good job! hard to find some good live quality of them :-)

Must have been a serious gig in the rain as well!

  • @Kieranmusic89 Yes, it was awesome and that just added to it. Wish the speaker wasn't in my ear or it would have sounded better. I will post some of the other stuff some day but this one was a good one I thought.

  • damn sad that they would even try and play a song that no one will ever be able to do but hughie god bless you we miss you and know that your walkin in green grass and watchin high tides now r.i.p

  • Henry Paul is the only one left. He bought a german shepard from my uncle in Lutz, Florida. He was'nt so bad.......

  • @detroitchuckie Monto Yoho is the drummer. The other guys (except Billy Crain) were in Hughie's Outlaws.

  • Good guitar playing,...but alas, these guys are not The Outlaws. I saw the real Outlaws 3 times from 1979 up to 1983. They had a HUGE guitar sound, and were charismatic on stage. This is a really good tribute band.

  • They're a Great tribute band!!

I bet the rain made it harder to concentrate & they Still did a Great job.

  • @JohnO318 They didn't let it bother them at all. Their tech was working his ass off trying to keep things as dry as possible. Pure Prarie League played before them, and they quit as soon as it started raining,

  • Love the way people who don't have any of their own music are so quick to judge REAL musicians who don't live up to their precious standards.

  • now that is a good old rock band

  • Great shoot! You did an excellent job of capturing the moment! Back in the day, in Arizona, 38 Special was the warm up band for the Outlaws! Before the show, there was a lot of debate on who should have headlined, after this song, which lasted for around 20 minutes, the debate was over!

  • This is as bad as The Marshall Tucker Band now, Doug Gray can't sing and the others are no names.

  • @longtalltexan63 Is he an original member of the Marshall Tucker Band fuckface? I can play bass but would never claim to be a Caldwell or George McCorkle. Why is it some shithead always just thinks he knows it all?

    Is Mike Love the Beachboys?

Is Ringo the Beatles? Shut the fuck up. Who cares who is playing bass. Did I ever say they weren't good, I said they are no names. A fucking ripoff. I saw them a few years back in St. Louis and Doug had to have someone else sing some of his songs!!

  • @longtalltexan63 You must be the bass player or a relative. You suck ass dickwad. All I said was the current Marshall Tucker Band is as much them as Ringo is the Beatles. Now shut the fuck up and get a job. Quit trading on someone elses fame and creativity.

  • LOL

I've just seen him play live. One of the better bass players I've ever seen.

  • @PawneeBill47 Having seen both, I would have to disagree strongly. I would see this band any time I could, but never the so called Marshall Tucker that is out there now.

  • Should the Allan Bros. stopped too?

  • Is hughie even in this?

I doub it im not even gonna take the time to watch the 10 minutes and 42 second of this because these fuckers should have stoped when the real outlaw hughie tomasson died

  • @SpitMucus69 Henry Paul is a fucking whore...these guys are just a half-assed tribute band.

  • This is so great. I was there and must have been standing right next to you. They are coming to the Indian Ranch this summer with some new songs.

  • I missed a chance to see them last year :(

  • i love this song on rockband ... i cant finish it though , always gets me halfway through .... i should stop doing expert these guys are my fave southern rockband

  • Now that's a great Band and to keep going in the rain in just to awesome. Not gonna let a little rain stop this show.

  • as good as it gets without HT
